I bought it to translate English to Spansh when I'm away on vacation but it is not useable. It is not a stand-alone device but has to be paired with your phone in order to work. The device itself is really just a Bluetooth microphone/speaker that pairs to the phone and works through the maker's translator app which is the actual translator itself. There are two main problems. Firstly, the app doesn't work offline so you have to have an internet connection for it to work. Not really an option when traveling to Central and South America. Secondly the online translation service is garbage. Unlike Google, Apple or Amazon services which gets the speech recognition right most of the time, the speech recognition service on this app gets it wrong almost all the time. My native language is English and I speak with no accent but this translator doesn't recognize even the most basic sentences. Example: I say "How much does this cost?" it recognizes "How much do you like the car?". I say exactly the same phrase again slowly and clearly and I get ""How much is this I can call". I try a third time and I get "Much is the." I don't really know how well the translation works as there is no point if what it hears you say is not what you are saying no matter how clearly and slowly you speak. I found one setting that may be connected to the voice recognition but turning it on or off made no difference and there is no documentation that comes with it either so I don't really know what the setting does. It never works and so after much trying I'm sending it back. Very typical of many Chinese products I have tried to purchase that do not work as advertised.

Doesn't translate any better than Google don't waste your money.

Not good not worth the money

I like it. I only speak English & have some employee who only speak Spanish. I would also like to use it for traveling. It handles short phrases fine

Seriously, this thing does not work, except if you are looking for a laugh at the translation....save your money!

I still can't get it to work. Even after I downloaded an app that needs root permissions for your phone.I'm calling this a scam.
