I have had this item for a week now and I’m loving it. You can operate it by remote or the controls on the actual product. There are three color modes for both the logs and the flames. You can also chose them separately. For instance you could have blue flames with red logs. It has two heat settings and effectively warms up the 500ish square foot area I have it in. At the time I am writing this review the heater has been running on the high heat setting for about 3.5 hours and the sides and back are cool to the touch. The top of it is warm but wouldn’t hurt anyone.You can definitely tell that it’s a fake fire but even heaters that are 2 or 3 times more expensive that this one, you can still tell they are fake.I don’t anticipate it requiring too much power but I’ll look at my bill after a month or two and update it it’s sucking down a ton of electricity.All around it’s a great little heater, looks nice in your home and is priced appropriately.

I live in a 35 ft 5th wheel. This little stove heats the space up quickly and efficiently. It's pretty quiet. Adds ambiance which is a nice thing.

Very attractive and fun to adjust flame action and color to fit the mood. Very sturdy and appears well built. Does not "heat" an area but does eventually warm a space...heat motor is very quiet and I don't like motor noises. Ordered black, received dark gray but liked it in the space. I built a decorative bench to raise it from the floor level by a little over a foot to increase visibility

We are getting a new house built and, someday, will install a wood stove. Until then we wanted something in the corner where the stove will go and this electric fireplace caught our eyes. It looks nice and I like how the "fire" looks when on. It is nice that the buttons are hidden behind a door as that helps hide them. The unit itself does generate a lot of heat but I need to wait for our house and winter to speak how well it heats a room.

I wanted to love this heater but was a little disappointed. It looks very nice and the color options are cool. It is quiet and easy to assemble, you just have to attach the legs. The control panel was peeling off and the seller did give me a small refund. It does come with a remote but the sensor is inside the door so in order to actually use the remote you have to keep the right door open. I like that the heat comes from the top but I wouldn't say it heats a whole room. Lastly, you cannot put anything on top of it, it gets hot.

Of course, it is not for heating your entire huge room. It is for small spaces. So, Keeping it in your preferred corner where you can read, relax, or watch TV - is an excellent addition to putting you in a positive and content mood. I enjoy the cold ambiance and use it as a decorative tool most of the time. You can use it around the year, depending on your air conditioning settings. For instance, if you live in TX, you can enjoy the beautiful fireplace effect and don't need to turn on the heating. You save electricity and enjoy the flames dancing. if you want to use this as a heater only. Know that, in my opinion, it will NOT heat your entire room—just a small space.
