I am 6'5" and 255 lbs. What size would be best?

I am about ,6'3" and 250 lb.  I bought the xxxx size in these and was happy with it.  I usually fit an XL or sometimes a XXL. But for some reason I went extra large on this one.   With it going on over other clothes I think you would be happy with the xxxx size.   If you were just wereing this with underwear I might consider a smaller size.   I don't. Know what it is about this suite but the yeeow jackets and hornets I was dealing with would nearly leave me alone when I wore this, with street clothes they would try to attack me

Do I have to remove boots?

It has a strap for under ball of the shoe and a zippered bottom that can slide over a boot or bi inside depending on your preference.

will this suit protect you from was stings?

I do believe that it will.  The outside layer is a mesh and the 2nd layer is small nodules linked together that creates a open space between the 1st and 3rd layer.  I don't think that a wasp stinger would be able to bridge the total distance.  If your hood was too close to your head or face,  then a sting might be possible as the screen is only 1 layer thick.

Question 4

There is a stiff strap with velcro on the end sewn in the top of the veil.  there is no matching velcro pad for this to use.  is the suit defective?

Greetings Ron, that stiff strap connects to the upper rim of the face mask, where the zipper is. Look for the velcro in that area as this strap keeps the top of the face mask from sinking inward from the top, and it keeps the back veil away from your head. I am a licensed pest control operator with my own pest control company and bee management is a part of that operation. View the suit as an exoskeleton and its job is to keep the bees away from any skin and the head and back are prime targets. Keep this in mind, depending on the species, stingers can vary in size and the attack strategies are different, therefore, you should never have any skin directly against the suit and the suit should be as such to provide that protection. This is an excellent suit and a replacement for me for the ones that have the hardhat underneath the mask to provide that distance.
