Mr Fothergill's 23296 Vegetable Seeds, Sweet Corn Swift F1

Great seeds i highly recommend them.Look so healthy in my garden , ill maybe take some pictures when i get sweetcorn cobs growing on them. but all 24 plants look great and healthy now planted outside . atleast 2-3 of the ones that didn't germinated was because i under watered them. very reliable seeds and getting 29 i was so happy . great product thankspsa ( remember you should plant sweetcorn in blocks where possible , not rows )

Took a few days to arrive, but i suspect demand was quite high when i ordered them (Monty Don was also planting sweetcorn on Gardeners world) but very satisfied with the seeds. All have germinated and are quickly growing, and im hopeful that come the Autumn, we will have some tasty sweetcorn to enjoy.

Bought this variety of sweetcorn after Monty Don recommended them on Gardeners World. I've never grown sweetcorn before and it took several attempts to actually germinate the seeds. On the third attempt, I had success!This is the tastiest sweetcorn I have ever had. It was beautiful. I only wish I had grown more. Planted more seeds this year!

I bought a packet of these earlier in the year and the germination rate was very poor. I thought it might be because it just wasn't warm enough, so bought another packet. 2nd time round, and much warmer conditions - Germination rate was excellent, had shoots within a few days, and 31/32 seeds planted are growing nicely.

Might have been the weather as it was very dry but l do know how to look after planting sweetcorn and watering it having been successful in the pastIn this case not much success in fact no success at all .

It germinates very well. Planted in May 2021 which is rainy season and the weather is warm. I think it is a great value for money. I have never tasted a sweetcorn this sweet. I can tell you that the sweetness is like you put a sugar on the cobs. I will definitely buy this again.

I bought these seeds last year and had no issue with their quality. I was about to buy two packs as I wanted a larger crop, but it says on the packet that there is an average of 35 seeds. I have 14! I am obviously very annoyed.UPDATEI contacted Amazon and received a second packet of seeds free of charge the following day (ironically containing 40 seeds this time). I am more than happy with this outcome.

All of corns that I’ve sowed(not used all the packet) have germinated indoors. Have 16 in total so far and all still doing fine in greenhouse, plus 2 outdoors. Can’t say for any crops yet or taste but will update in the future
