My old kettle died at 6pm on a Wednesday evening and just a little over 48 hrs later my new kettle arrived. It's so much better than the old one, which was big and cumbersome, slow and noisy. I particularly wanted one with variable temperature and there weren't that many around. This one appealed to me because of the range of temperatures (40-100), the style and the colour. I like the fact that it shows the temperature as it rises to whatever degrees I've selected. It works very differently than how my previous one did, in that it makes a bit of noise near the beginning of the process and then somehow 'borrows' residual heat to bring it to the temperature chosen. Two small niggles for me: the temperature gauge is set for right-handed people and I'm left-handed, and I like to warm the pot before I make the tea and I now have to wait five minutes until I can reheat the water. But they're only minor inconveniences. I love this kettle!

The kettle looked lovely when it arrived. it is now broken. The spout has come 'unstuck' from the body. it is sometimes dangerous when pouring into mugs/cups, it has a tendency to suddenly 'gush' and sputter over anything 5-8" from the spout - this means don't hold the cup when you are pouring - you will get scalded. It has twice popped the lid off whilst pouring and allowed the hot water to spill out.

This kettle is so useful if like in our family you have different drinks. For my son and I who like a warm juice, it's perfect to just heat the kettle to 70, no more messing around with cold water trying to get the temperature drinkable. For my husband's teas, he can make it as per instructions. Then for orchids, perfect 30, again no messing around with cold water and the keep warm facility is perfect if your doing dinner and drinks and saves wasting time reboiling. Also love the temperature screen on the outside so sometimes, you can just see the water temp is perfect, especially for juice drinks without re boiling and wasting energy. This kettle looks smart and is small whilst being big enough to suit a normal family drinks round.

This kettle great for heating water to temps (pretty much it's main purpose in life) so 4 stars I have 1 proper grumble and two aesthetics - the proper grumble is the lid is not quick and easy to take off when you want to fill it - next time I'll choose a hinged one. The minor things are - when you rotate the knob to set the desired temp, the red/green on/off sign ends up not being vertical (unless you adjust it whilst not on the base) - purely aesthetic I know, but it bugs me! The other one is the pour can be a little uneven due to the filter (mentioned by other reviewers) Anyway - it does the job :)

Lovely kettle . Good range of temperatures for all things needed. Love that it gives you temperature display so you know if it is still hot enough. Lid fits really securely so safe to use. Also very simple to change dial. Great value for money. Why did you choose this product over others?: Because it had temperature controls at a reasonable price and was pretty colour

Whilst I like the look of the kettle and the variable temperature setting, there are two things which are find extremely frustrating. I literally have to tug the lid to remove it and when I didn't put it on fully it 'blew off' when I started pouring. Not good when I was trying to fill my hot water bottle. Good job it wasn't set to boiling. The lid would be much better attached to the kettle with a touch control to open it. Secondly I find it very slow to pour even though I have removed the filter inside. Somewhat disappointed with my purchase.

I initially gave this kettle a 5 star review it was exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price I was delighted to have found it on amazon Unfortunately it has stopped working after 4 months... I would just like to add that it really cant be described as 'Quite' it is a stainless steal kettle and for that reason very noisy! I feel stainless steel is way more preferable than plastic and I'm prepared to put up with the noise for that reason but if you particularly want a quite kettle this is not the one.

This is my 4th temperature controlled kettle. I’ve had 2 Bosch and 1 cheap brand over 9 years and personally like this one best. All lasted about 3 years (though cheaper one had to be replaced under warranty after less than a year) so will see if this compares. Love the colour and the fact that you can select several timings (more than previous kettle) using a dial rather than buttons. I also prefer the fact that the lid comes off rather than being a flip lid (talking push button failure here). Boil time is fine and I like that it turns off the electric before it gets to temperature when selecting a non boil temperature then beeps twice once it has reached temperature using residual heat. It appears to be fairly accurate though I haven’t tested temperatures with a thermometer

I bought it to prepare baby formula as you can set the kettle at 70 degrees. It's been so useful so far. No issues at all.

La regolazione della temperatura e il relativo display luminoso sono proprio quelli che danno una marcia in più a questo bel bollitore dal design moderno. I 2200 W di potenza della resistenza permettono un riscaldamento veloce. L'involucro esterno si riscalda durante l'uso ma comunque la maniglia è ben isolata.
