KS3 Maths Workbook – Foundation (includes answers): for Years 7, 8 and 9

This is a excellent maths workbook. For KS3 (ages 11-14) doing foundation level CGP revision books is the no.1 revision books for me. This book covers everything you learn in KS3 including numbers, algebra and graphs, ratio/proportion/rates of change, geometry, measurements, probability and statistics. Each sub topic has page or 2 of practice questions for your child to answer. All the answer are at the back of the book. This is great workbook which is perfect for those homeschooling or for children who struggle with maths and need some revision. There is also a matching study book which I would recommend purchasing to go along with this book as it explains get topic and gives you examples on how to answer the questions that are in this workbook. I am currently home schooling my son and this will be a brilliant resource that I will use with him. Overall this is a highly quality book which will hugely benefit your child. Excellent quality (I am always impressed with the quality of CGP books) and great value for money. Would recommend

I like this book when I am tutoring year 7-9 students who find maths difficult. It is very straightforward, contains all the topics and gives them confidence as it is accessible to most struggling mathematicians!

The key difference between this book and the CGP Ten Minute Weekly Workout books is that this one is mainly organised by specific topics, so if you want a bunch of questions say on adding and subtracting fractions then this will will give you that set of questions. Whereas the Ten Minute books have a bunch of mixed topic questions in each set. I've found both to be useful in helping to reinforce/revise school maths work.
