Anger doesn't quite cover it, really. I've bought this stuff before and loved it, but the stuff I received from Amazon is most definitely not the same product. Luckily, I had some of the first tin (which I didn't buy online) left to compare it to.The consistency is lighter, with next to no 'hold' once applied, and seems more like a cream than a wax. I had to literally gouge the original stuff out, whereas this rubbish could be scooped out in its entirety without much bother. Not fit for purpose.I'm sending both tins, for comparison, to a watchdog, who were very helpful and full of advice when I contacted them yesterday on discovering the dishonesty involved in this sale.Absolutely furious that people think they can con people's hard-earned money out of them without repercussion. DO NOT buy from this seller. This is NOT the real product, I'm absolutely certain of it. Disgusting.

I've tried a lot of products looking for something that mediated hold and a no-shine finish. So far nothing on the high street has cut it.This product is not what I would call a wax. It's a lot lighter and way more workable, more of a paste than anything. It works a lot better in the colder months, where it provides a strong hold of around 7/10. A lot of products I've tried have been labelled as 'matte finish' but give disappointing results - this is one of the few that offer a truly matted effect. When the weathers warmer, the paste tends to melt easily and only provides about a 3/10 hold - sweating can quickly turn your finish into more of a greased look.This is my day-to-day hair product, and a tub of this size will easily last 3-4 months. Only one product I've tested is better overall: Label M Matt Paste - though it's double the price.Pros:Firm hold in cooler months.A true matte finishLong LastingGood value.Cons:Hold is weakened in summerCan be hard to wash off your hands.

its so thick you cant rub into your hands first it just turns into what feels like glue and it leaves my hair sticky, I only use a tiny bit but even that turns my hair into treacle its awful stuff get got2be beach matt its a pound more but it feels nicer smells nicer and applys to your hair easier.

Have to say I absolutely love this stuff. Before I used to buy Garnier Fructis, which besides having a strong citrus scent (which seemed to attract bugs like crazy when outside), it would often leave my hair looking rather flat and greasy - although to be fair it did hold well."Bed Head" is noticeably thicker - pretty much a toothpaste consistency. Consequently its a little harder to work into your hair - especially when it starts to get longer. However, it not only holds, better, but my hair doesn't look like I've plastered it with gel/mousse and the scent is much milder and more organic.I've knocked off 1 star as it is rather pricey, compared to most hair products you'll find in your local shops and you do use it up more quickly. Other than that it is excellent stuff and I will continue to buy it.

Clumps your hair up, hardens and doesn't allow for any styling. It's extraordinarily bad, not worth its price.I have no idea why this product reviews so well, it's better to buy something else from brands like redken, sebastian, hanz de fuko, etc. Sure they cost more, but I wish I never paid for this horrid stuff.To add insult I paid £8.95 from Amazon for what is now £4.77

I've been looking for bed head (the strong bees-wax-y wax) for years now, I used to get it in a stick from a barbers round the corner off Brick Lane in London. You can get the bed head stick on here too, but I prefer to work this into my hands and rummage things around a bit. Great for a scruffy-by-design look on close-cropped hair.Since I moved away, I've tried everything else, and nothing comes close. Why I didn't think of having a quick look on Amazon, I have no idea...Strong, strong, strong hold. Great for thin, short hair, You can shape it into anything the fancy takes you. Probably would end up looking a bit lardy on thicker hair, but that's just a guess.There is a faintly Pledge-like smell to this, but it soon seems to fade.

I can't understand how is it possible that this hair vax got so many positive reviews. The only positive of it is the smell which is nice, but it isn't able to hold my hair at all.

Very different structure compared to typical wax products. Little amount is enough. Strong hold that makes it very hard to play with the hair afterwards, though. doesn’t shine or give oily feel.

Me agrado mucho este producto por si fijacion fuerte y ademas su acabado matte. Anteriormente he comprado diferentes productos de reste tipo , incluyendo American Crew Fiber. Pero en lo personal me quedo con este producto , no te decepcionara. Ademas si eres de cabello delgado te dara volumen en lugar de quitarte.

This has a pretty high hold. Smells kind of like soap. Does exactly what I want for a messier look without shine. It can even work for a neater look like a part as well. Pretty versatile.
