Left turn does not work well. Often have to make 360 degrees turn to the right to go left. Replacing the battery is not easy for someone with limited abilities. Too big to use inside the house, can't make the turns into hallway or bedrooms or bathroom without wiping out the corners or the doors. Great for running around yard. Wife has difficulty lifting into the trunk. Taking out the battery is not an option to getting it into the trunk because it is too difficult to reinstall the battery. Too big for some restaurants and stores.

I bought this same wheelchair and used it regularly for about 5 years before it started to slow down and show some wear. I was so pleased with that purchase that I decided to get the same chair again. What a huge mistake! The newest version is an accident waiting to happen.- The steering is unreliable. Sometimes it takes you in the direction you want, sometimes it takes you completely off course.- There is a signifiant lag time between when you apply the brakes and when they finally engage - often as much as 5 seconds.- The chair does not stop when you take your hand off the joy stick. It continues to roll forward until it eventually slows to a stop.- The turns are very "loose," making it difficult to conrol them or to make slow, tight turns.This wheelchair is simply dangeous and does not at all live up to dependability and great design of the first version.
