These double batteries are worth the high cost. The 1st double battery I purchased gave me many more hours of freedom, time away from home, compared to the single battery. The battery lasted for 5 years with good care. I am assuming this new battery will give me another 5 years of freedom! Thank you, Inogen!!

If I had bought this directly from Inogen, it would have cost a lot more than I paid for it here. I was surprised when it came in an Inogen box. We did pay the extra thousand dollars, and in doing so, part of the price of their extended warranty was to get free replacement , along with a double battery. The machine has had to be replaced 4 or 5 times now, but batteries aren't covered with Inogen. The single battery is an automatic to package with the machine, so it's great having the two batteries to allow us more time out. Since we have had the machine for 7 years, and the double battery is used the most. It is the one running more than the single battery. I have seen many reviews on the batteries, and most are talking about only having the single battery, so I guess they didn't buy the extended warranty. We are sure glad that we did, since we have replaced the concentratior 4 or 5 times now. We do love that machine!

Easy to use and will last 4 hours on 4 lpm

The portable unit with the original battery is light enough for anyone to carry over their shoulders or by hand, but the battery is only good for 4-5 hours. This double battery doubles the weight but allows you to be free for 8-9 hours. With your original battery in your carryon you will meet airline requirements for 150% of flight time back up unless you are going for marathon flights in which case two or more of these double batteries will be needed.

Don’t buy from this company! The double battery was defective and I called directly to the company explaining why the battery would not charge fully. After charging more than 14 hours the intern one unit would only show 28% and The unit would indicate still charging even charging over 14 hours. The rep at the company stated it’s probably defective if it’s taking that long. I also explain that my dad need to get another battery due to delta requirement using Inogen one unit requires ex amount of battery life while flying . Since he’s flying to florida in two days. Had to get another battery from a different seller since this seller can’t have it in time before the flight even though it was the second purchase was single mode vs double mode. Took less than three hours to charge fully in the Inogen unit. The seller charge for restocking fee of $72 plus $18 for return shipment. Explained this to Amazon and the seller respond back with not defective when it is. Tell me how a brand new double battery charging for over 14 hours still shows 28 percent and in charging mode when a single battery charged less than three hours is at 100 percent?Total scam. Don’t order anything from this company..
