Good Memories
Very tasty weisswurst. Delicate flavor. Reminds me of Austria where I lived for 25 years. Will certainly buy again.

This is NOT Bavarian Weisswurst!
So disappointet! The white and blue pattern on the glass let the customer think he will buy the typical Bavarian Weisswurst…but they are anything but that! The taste has only a very faint similarity…for what is most missing is the parsley, and some other spices as well. I know that the original Weisswurst from Munic is made with veal and not pork, so the taste would be a little not different, but iz shouldn‘t differ that mich. So if you are hoping to experience the taste of the original Bavarian Weisswurts, forget it…don‘t buy this product!

Surprisingly good.
Looking at the picture, white wieners in a brine sauce, it's not very appealing. Even in person it's a bit offputting if you're used to shrink wrapped or fresh wursts. All that being said, when cooked in a frying pan with some oil and topped with a curry sauce, these are not bad.Pros:- Good taste, just a little mild- You get about 5 wursts- Thin casingCons:- Loaded with fat- 190 cals per wurst- Lots of sodium (they are in Brine)I recently lost access to fresh wursts when our one German store in 20 miles closed down (We miss you Karl!), so I'm looking for alternatives. This is a reasonable, if somewhat unhealthy alternative.

Surprisingly Good
I've eaten many a weisswurst bought from a street vendor while strolling Koenigstrasse in Stuttgart. I've eaten many fine weisswurst from a local German restaurant as well as from a German deli here in town. Suffice to say I know weisswurst.I'll admit I had low expectations when I bought these, but they turned out to be really good, surprising me as well as my wife. Contrary to the comment left by someone else, the brine they are packed in was almost odorless. I would order them again, and in fact I already have.

These are Pork Sausages, but not Weisswurst!
These sausages are not Weisswürste. Which is surprising, considering this is an actual German brand. They look like the real thing, too. But they taste just like a regular pork sausage. We were craving some Weisswurst and invested in this - and were horribly disappointed.I can't say that they had a weird odor and they weren't disgusting, they were simply a different kind of sausage. Not even close to what a Weisswurst is supposed to taste like.

Five Star Product
After reading some of the negative reviews I was pleasantly surprised. I prepared them in the traditional way by heating them up in water with a pinch of salt. They were delicious. Plus, no refrigeration required! Will order again.
