Diy skills needed... Don't expect miracles.
We've used these kits twice, once to repair a vinyl floor, this time to try and hide a mark on a carpet. You'll need a bit of diy skill and the ability to match colours. The vinyl repair worked well and could barely notice the marks that were very obvious beforehand. The carpet repair however wasn't so easy, it proved difficult to get colour right. So depending on exact colour and texture of the material you're looking to repair - results may be unpredictable.

cheeper than new seats
repaired the seat in my Morris Minor it is quite difficult to get the exact shade of weather vinyl it would be easier on a more clean unweathered vinyl but cheeper than new seats!

Seems to be a good product although the colour range is limited
Seems to be a good product although the colour range is limited. Our carpet is light teal in colour but this was not listed on the range of colours available. If anyone is interested one needs to mix green, blue, black and yellow and then mix in white. Have given 4 stars rather than 5 stars owing to the fiddly aspect of mixing the dye.

An interesting and unbelievable product.
product does what I doubted it could do. I covered blemishes on fabric so that they were not noticeable. Requires a knowledge of how to mix primary colours. The colour chart was missing.

Very good product
We mixed a perfect colour to match a bleached patch in our hall carpet. It now looks like new it really works well on carpet and our colour was a pale green grey.
