Women's Eddie Bauer Crystal Ridge Down Parka

I live in Alaska and this is a great coat for temperatures down to about 20° below zero. It’s lightweight for its degree of warmth and just the right length. However, the hood definitely needs a drawstring. When up it practically covers my whole face. It’s very roomy and I could easily put a thick sweater underneath, but I wanted a roomie coat so I don’t feel confined in my car seatbelt.

I love this coat! Iam about 5'0: tall and as a petite person the fit is still appropriate. The sleeves aren't too long and it is flattering when on. I would buy again in another color when needed.Please keep making this style!. I also love the color: it's so hard to find purpleish toned coats that will fit petite people and keep us warm! The coat is also not so heavy that I would mind walking aound shopping with it either on or off.

The coat is super warm, nice-looking, and mostly as-advertised. The zipper is a pain in the neck. The trim gets stuck in the zipper, the zipper has come apart from the bottom, I have regularly been stuck in this coat due to the zipper being stuck.

Love my coat- wearing it for my 2nd winter . Live on east coast. Very warm, flattering, feminine cut, water resistant. 5’5”, 138 lbs and medium is perfect.

First I want to say I have tried to contact the seller through Amazon. The message was sent well over 3 weeks ago. No reply and no way to get help through Amazon Chat. The description of the coat regarding the hood is as follows: The snap-off hood has a removable faux fur ruff. The last word is a mystery. It distinctive says it has a SNAP-OFF HOOD. IT DOES NOT! I hate hoods on any garment, much less coats. Now, 1-6-25, we have a winter storm across America and I have no option other than to wear the coat since it is so cold. I will forever hate this coat and I probably will put it on Facebook Market Place after the bitter cold is over. What a waste of money. I will NEVER buy from EB again!!!!! 1-10-25 UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW. As stated before, EB NEVER responded to my question about the “misinformation” on their description of this coat, I go to put on the coat (thank goodness I had not removed the tags) as I had no choice but to wear it because of the winter storm, I discover that the MAIN ZIPPER on the entirety of the front of the coat is BROKEN!!!!! I give up! Now we are having snow, ice, and below freezing temperatures and I without an appropriate coat to wear. Thank you EB!!!! I have been trying to get a response from EB since the day I received the coat. I will say that I love the way the coat fit and it has some really nice features. I was attempting to ask them if they had a comparable coat without a hood that I could exchange for. So the coat goes back as I freeze in this winter storm has hit our area. Again I will NEVER EVER buy anything from EB!!!!!

This is a wonderful winter coat. Very warm. It looks great. Love it!

The coat fit nice (xl) but the navy color was so dark it was practically black unlike the picture online. I wanted a blue coat not black, so am returning.
