I love these lights. Very easy to set up with Alexa.

I bought 8 of these bulbs and they were very easy to set up in the app and connect to WiFi. They respond well when using the app and can change colors, themes and Alexa supported. I like that they can be put on a timer and will turn on and off to color you choose. Fun for decorating, parties and seasonal use. My lights are used outside and have worked for me and I recommend them.

Works well, tons of different lighting options

Ordinarily, I find the idea of a $15 light bulb flat out offensive. I'm old school. Flip a switch and you have light; flip it again, and you don't.I have one room in my house that's a 'fun' room. It's my gaming /music /home theater/guitar practice /etc room. The windows face North and West, so natural light isn't enough during the day...except for a few hours in the afternoon when I close the blinds anyway to block the heat. I had high quality daylight bulbs in the overhead fixtures, but they're often too bright depending on the activity de jure, so when I saw these on Vine, though, I gave in.Setup was quick and painless. The quality of light produced is good, even for the different white light temperatures. The ability to set scenes for different activities, and "command" them via Alexa is a blast. Just having brighter light over my desk than the rest of the room would be enough to make it worthwhile. Playing with colors is just the icing. I'll probably use some custom scenes for vlog lighting effects too.My main concerns with these are going to be longevity and replacement availability. At the price, they had better last, and if I lose one or two along the way, replacements that work with the software better still be available. I put these up on 4/2/2024, and so far they're working great. I will update the review if anything goes wrong. As long as there's no update, we're good.(I'm still embarrassed by how pricey these things are though.)

**Important, if you are using these in a series of ceiling lights that are controlled by a dimmer, you may need to take the dimmer completely out of play. You can use a regular on off switch or just bypass all together as I did. I am willing to bet the people experiencing these issues are using a dimmer switch.Otherwise, once I figured out the dimmer part, they work great. Compatible with Alexa, but the app lets you fine tune a create different mode lighting. Kids love the music sync one. I like the bonfire.

Tried to connect these bulbs to my WiFi network, but they refused to connect. Troubleshooting instructions wanted me to separate the SSID into separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz SSIDs, but then I would have to reprogram everything else on the network! In my case, that would be dozens of devices that would need to be reconnected just because these bulbs are incapable of integrating with a modern WiFi network that exposes a single SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz! No way! I have other WiFi lights that work just fine on the network. These simply don't. They're going back to Amazon!

I love the quality of the light these put off in terms of color temperature (K) and color rendering (CRI) capability. But my favorite aspect of them and the part that most impressed me was actually the app called “AiDot”. It’s FAR better than most smart device apps I’ve tried. You can see in the screenshots both the start page of the app and how it looks on iPadOS - just as nice as it does in the iphone pic they have on the product page. Every option i’d want is easy to set. Great product!
