Jasmine flowers are picked early in the day when the small petals are tightly closed. The flowers are kept cool until nightfall than tea leaves and flowers are placed in alternating layers. During the night jasmine flowers open, and release their fragrance, and this is when the tea scenting takes place. The scenting process of our Jasmine Queen is repeated as many as six times, every night for six hours.

Brewing: 2 to 3 grams, 200 mills of water at around 75 C degrees, 2 to 3 minutes depend on preferences. After you have finished brewing, take the leaves out of the cup/teapot. Subsequent: 5 to 6 grams of tea, 80 to 100 mills 75 C degrees’ water, first brewing up to 35 second and each next longer about 15 second. Pearls uncurl with each brewing infusing liquid with different layers of taste. We recommend up to 5 repetitions.

Just the top two leaves and the downy bud for our dragon pearls are harvested by hands in the early spring and stored until the late summer when fresh jasmine flowers are in bloom. It takes many hours for the tea to absorb the fragrance and flavour of the jasmine blossoms. The scenting process of our Jasmin Dragon Pearls was repeated as many as seven times for five hours each night.
