Tried everything including headless control. This thing just does not work. Will fly for a few moments then go into aimless directions no matter what we do. Probably our luck that we got a bad device/controller. Bought it as a Christmas present and just started using it recently due to weather and of course returning at this point is not an option. WARNING: Once you receive yours open it immediately and test it out. I will accept any guidance on this wish this worked out better. Very disappointed granddaughter…..Updating to boast about the customer service of this company. I was not really expecting them to respond to this review. I had bought this before Chrsstmas for my grandughter and did not open it until just a couple of weeks ago so returning was not an option on Amazon. ATTOP reached out to me and provided a path to either replace or return for refund, I was shocked. This is true customer service and proves they read this review and took it to heart to make it right. I will be ordering another unit from them. Awesome!

Ok so I got this drone for my daughter and there is an app that you need to install on your phone or tablet for it to work. Or at least for the camera to work. Ok. The drone itself was easy setup. Batteries charged just fine (but you need your own charger, they only supply the USB cord.) Turns on and flys just fine. (I only flew it a couple times though so maybe my review will change but for now it's a great drone.) Anyway the app that they tell you to use DOESN'T WORK. It crashes as soon as you open it up. I tried everything. (When you have the app opened you have to turn on the wifi for the drone and turn off your mobile data.) I even uninstalled and reinstalled several times. No luck. But I did however find a different app that does work for the camera on this drone so as long as it works... My daughter is happy now. As for the drone itself, it's pretty easy to fly. I'm a beginner so I couldn't really tell you how far or high this thing really goes. I only flew it around my yard and as high as the top of my house. The pictures it takes are pretty nice for a small camera. If any problems arise then I will definitely update my review but as of now... 4 and a half stars. It would of gotten 5 if the app worked properly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bought this during Prime days as it was $35 instead of $70. Glad I only spent $35 because this thing is junk. VERY easily thrown by even the slightest breeze. It struggles to get around on days with little to no wind. I blame some of that on its inability to hold calibration. The calibration process feels like a waste of time because A. It doesn't hold calibration. B. as soon a you hit the controls its WAY out of calibration again and flies poorly. Sometimes you are full throttle in one direction just to get it to hover in no wind. Worst flying drone I've piloted yet.

The media could not be loaded.  We got the light black, which is half price. This thing is amazing for a $30 drone. Stable, flips, 2 batteries, headless mode. Got it for my 8 year old and he loves it. Fantastic beginner drone. Was afraid of what we might get but we are very happy with it. Comes with full set of extra props and a couple extra prop guards and landing gear. We rigged up a hook and a load to “vertrep”. See video. Lots of fun. The app and camera is a bit wonky but we didn’t get it for that. It works but if you want a camera drone I’d suggest getting a much more expensive drone. I didn’t time it but the battery seems to last longer than the 9 minutes advertised time. I would recommend springing for the 3 batteries. They take 60 minutes charge. This is a toy, not a tool. This review is coming from a drone business owner who flys a $3800 drone for infrastructure work.

We've had two of these same drones, and the same issue occurred with both. Once the drone takes off from the ground, it will fly slowly in one direction on its own. I've flown drones before (granted they were more expensive and technical models) that could hover in one spot, maintaining location and elevation on its own. This drone will not do that.This made it difficult to teach my son how to use the controls because I would have to take the remote control from him in order to get the drone to fly back to us. This occurred in an open area, outside, with no surface winds, and trying to maintain an elevation of about 10 feet.The range of control isn't very far either. When the drone was about 100 feet away, we had issues with the drone's responsiveness to the remote control operations, especially the "panic" button.The "panic" button should force the drone to land softly at its current location. The drone kept flying away. despite multiple presses of the "panic" button.Now we have no drone, as it is lost deep in a brush-filled canyon near home.The remote controller itself is not marked or labeled as to what each of the joysticks do, either.
