I didn't like how slow it is with no way to speed it up.

I swore I've seen this model before and I realized that this is a WPL rebrand. Not necessarily a bad thing. I think the looks are really cool as a military buggy type. Don't expect these to be blazing fast but they are quick enough to enjoy. I also wouldn't go find the nearest skate park to bash this with as they aren't going to be your most durable to abuse either. What are they good for then? They are good fun to enjoy around the backyard. It s a great low cost entry level RC that is a step upgrade from your local big box store.

SUMMARYFun and responsive off-road RC vehicle with a design I really like. The vehicle itself is made of durable fenders, roll bars and a hard plastic that give me faith it can take some rough tumbles and come out on top. In the time I've used it so far it has proven to be true. So far so good, if you like the aesthetic I would recommend.PROS(Power) Enough torque that when you switch from reverse to forward you will easily pop a wheelie. While it can get stuck in places it gives it a good fight every time - forward or reverse.(Aesthetic) Army design is well done, colors are a drab army green with black and brown camo. Trim is black and accents nicely. The stickers are a simple not too bright white and were easy to place. Overall has a nice feel to it and reminds me of the old G.I. Joe A.W.E. Striker.(Response) Acceleration and turning have good response times if you are within the proper distance. Easy enough to choose your speed by how much you pull on the remote trigger. Turns are shop and not awkward feeling...though it can be difficult to guide at high speeds.(Suspension) One of my favorite things to watch on a vehicle is tire suspension...this one is solid in the front and even a little better in the back (rear tires will go all the way to and touch the fender)CONS(Inner Tire) The wheel is thin and leaves the inner tire open and creates a lip/space for gravel or other things to get in. Hasn't been a problem so far but can see where something could get stuck or jammed in there. Not a major issue but worth noting.NOTES(Action Figures) May work with 3.75 inch G.I. Joes but severely undersized for 6 inch figures.(Battery) Have not used enough yet to make a judgment but have used the first battery for a couple of hours and it was going full blast when I powered it off. Two rechargeable batteries come with it so I don't ever see them being a problem unless you go out for long extended sessions.(Remote) 2 AA batteries required for the remote, you will also need a fairly small phillips screw driver to put both the remote and car battery in.

I am very pleased with this little vehicle. The battery lasts long enough to make it fun to play with and the range is sufficient to allow you to control it from a good way off. The controller is very intuitive and makes it easy to control. The best feature of this is that it comes with an extra battery, so you can keep using it while one dead battery is back on the charger. For kids or adults alike, this is a fun little car.

The media could not be loaded. This one has good battery life and responsive steering and throttle. With most being all or nothing steering and throttle I was surprised when I found this one is responsive, definitely a plus. The only down side was one headlight was broken out of the box. The detail put in is great, nice too see and run.

Got this for my grandson for his birthday. He really enjoyed how fast it goes.
