I got this for my friend's older dog's 13th birthday, and she loved it. I've noticed that dogs enjoy it even more if we (the human) sit down with them and watch them figure it out!

My puppy has many snuffle mats and this is one of her favourites. You can hide so many kibbles in each layer of the 'cake' and it extends feeding time very well. Some parts of the mats are removable so you can also play with your dog, very versatile.

This matt is made of felt and has loops on the bottom for what I assume a pad or suction cups to be attached. The fabric is not a high-quality, but my dog does not care. I noticed after our first play session that each of the "pancakes" and the taco thing, are velcro'd together, so you can modify the difficulty, or wash each of those components separately if needed.My dog is a nosy dog that loves to search and sniff things. The pockets on this pad are not massive, but I again, assume these are meant to be used for slower feeding. I just slip treats into different areas and pockets and let him sniff around until he finds all the pieces. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a satisfied dog after an activity like this. I would not recommend unsupervised playtime with this, especially if you have a dog that chews up everything.

Great snuffle mat for large and small dogs! Lot's of places to hide kibble and treats! Keeps my dogs entertained and tires them out mentally. Great if you have a very active dog and need an activity to distract them. Well made and fairly durable. After awhile, felt may tear if you have an aggressive digger or chewer.
