First of all let me say I am a hopeful skeptic. I've been suffering from terrible depression for the past week after reinjuring my ankle and was looking for anything to alleviate my emotional pain. I can live with physical pain because that's just part of life but emotional and mental sadness are not so easy to dismiss. So I watched a video about black tourmaline being beneficial for a few things but what got my attention was using it for balance between the heart and mind. I am a large man and an auto mechanic so I don't wear rings or bracelets but I do have a few necklaces I wear so I wanted a necklace but not a pretty or decorative one. I liked the look of this necklace and that it was basic but also was made with more black tourmaline than shiney silver or gold. So I received my necklace two days ago and I immediately put it on, it barely fits around my giant neck but it does fit comfortably and only flexes when I flex my neck. The beads are kinda large but nicely polished and look good but maybe a little big for some people. I know this sounds like a crock of sh*t but I started feeling better almost instantly, I actually felt an energy rush like something opened up inside of me and started flowing. Maybe it's the placebo effect, maybe it's voodoo (same thing) but I feel much better. I know if you believe something works then it does work even though I still had my doubts the black tourmaline really has helped my mental state and I'm feeling much happier. One note, my neck started to break out where this necklace was making contact with my skin. I tried to just wash it with Dawn dish soap but that didn't help. I know the company that makes the necklace said not to shower with it on (in the description or maybe in the questions) but this is the only way I've been able to stop my neck from breaking out. I've been showering with it on for a week now and I haven't seen any damage so we'll see what happens over time.

Full disclosure, I got this necklace to help me with nightmares. Wearing it did help for some time, but perhaps that was because of the confidence I felt wearing this necklace. As for the blood circulation and all that, I have no clue if I reaped any of those benefits. And I was a bit put off at first by how different the beads looked compared to natural tourmaline (see the hanging necklace in my uploaded picture). But I kept wearing it and it really started to grow on me. I do feel like it its just a bit too large (kinda reminds me of an overstretched collar) and I'm a too afraid to try and remove some of the beads to make it smaller. However, I do love this necklace. It was more than I would want to pay for normally, but in the end I'm happy to have it.

Im on stage a lot, playing with my band. I've been a leather wristband guy, but this works great for my look AND it's a protective stone. Its fighting off the demons that come when playing "The Devils Music...lol... So yeah, it's multi purpose and functional art

I dislike nothing about it. My headaches did start (though not intense) and have stopped after a week.

Beautiful bracelet and packaging- we really appreciated that they included a free gift stone that is quite unique.
