This light works as advertised. It's not super bright and I don't think it's supposed to be. It provides light as shown in the product photos. I installed this during the snowy and rainy season near the north Idaho panhandle (Eastern Washington State). I was a bit concerned as sun is limited in December, but this light charged up quickly and has excellent battery life. The light looks very nice and modern and I would recommend it to anyone to wants to add a nice look to their home or fence line. There is a power button that you need to use to ensure the light comes on at night.The install was very easy. It comes with plastic anchors and the corresponding screws. I think I used a 3/16" drill bit (I'm not certain on that though as I just "eye-balled" it and didn't pay too much attention when I selected and replaced the bit. The drill and drill bit are not provided (obviously) but you will need both to use the wall anchors. you might be able to use the screws with just a screwdriver, but I used an impact driver with Philips bit for those.The unit is provided with a template for screw placement so I put in a wall anchor and then screwed the screw in through the left hand screw mark on the template to hold the template in place and then used a small bit to drill a small pilot hole through the screw mark for the second screw on the template to mark the location for the wall anchor. The light slid right onto the screws and install was secure and complete. Very slick and very easy with no guessing or measurements required in order to land the screws in the right place. You may want to measure for symmetry or to ensure alignment or level when installing multiple lights or just level when installing a single light.I really like this light, but I would not recommend it for security purposes like a floodlight is for. This light is more for beautification and to add a classy upscale look to a home.

I feel this is the brightest solar light I have used compared to past lights from our local department stores. I like that the light “throw” is wide and soft. It light about a 6 foot max wide area. The light comes from4 little diodes on the top and bottom of the light. I was very skeptical that these were going to give off enough light, but they aren’t bad. I’m never quite satisfied with solar lights though, and always wish they were brighter which is why I gave it 4 stars. This product does a good job of lighting up a dark corner, like a trash bin area, alley way, or used in the landscape. This is within my crape myrtle. I zip tied it there until the summer when I’ll move it to a brighter location. As it has charge over a couple days it did get brighter than when I first unpackaged it. It feels durable and not of flimsy material. This would look very elegant with multiple lights lining a fence or mounted on home wall along a walkway!

We picked this up to add near a stairway to a deck. There is a support post right next to the stairs about half way up that this can mount to and shine on the stairs. This will be the perfect size to fit on a six by six post. It will also match our railing perfectly.No assembly is required for this. The directions state to charge it fully in sunlight before turning it on. To mount, this comes with the screws you need and a little paper template to align the screws with the mounting slots on the back of the light.There are only two settings on this: high and low (and off). My only complaint with this is it would be nice if you could select to only have the upper and/or lower leds on. If that was an option, we'd only have the down lights on. Depending on how well the battery holds up, we may modify this to disconnect the upper leds. This also states that it has an internal 18650. I didn't disassemble this to confirm, but that is a selling point for us. We have a lot of those batteries and I can replace the battery eventually.This is on the lite side; it definitely seems like aluminum. It shouldn't rust, so that is a plus. The top and bottom have plastic on them. Hopefully the plastic covering the solar panel holds up, but time will tell. Overall I like this light, and I would purchase a replacement if this one burns out b/c it matches our deck so well.If anything goes wrong, I will update this review.

This modern design exterior solar wall sconce gives a nice, soft light after the sunlight disappears. I set it up with the bright light setting vs the low light setting. It gives a very natural light that gently lights up the area.It’s not overly bright, but it’s not a security light. It’s more of a decorative light along with giving enough light to be able to see where you are walking. Even when only having an overcast with some sunlight day, it still gives a modest amount of light. It didn’t last through the whole night (11 hours), but it was still going strong after 5 or 6 hours. A full sun day should power it up enough to last through the night.It’s pretty easy to mount, although, I would prefer to be able to mount a plate to the wall, and then attach the light to the plate. However, it works just fine the way that it is.Amazon Vine sent this product to me so that I could give it an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes. It’s much better than burning precious dollars with utility electricity. I prefer using the sun and a battery to light up the outside at night.

The solar cylinder wall sconce with its modern design has a nice look. However, I was disappointed with its underwhelming brightness. The four tiny LED lights on both the top and bottom provide enough illumination for basic visibility when approaching my door, but for the price, I anticipated a more powerful light output. While it fulfills the basic function of aiding visibility, I expected a stronger outdoor lighting solution as shown in the online product photos. The performance fell way short of expectations. Considering the rather high price point, I expected a brighter and more impactful lighting experience.
