The media could not be loaded.  Out of the box, this is a great laptop. It is ready to use pretty quickly, after a system update (which should be done with ALL computers, smart phones, etc these days).Do make sure to update the system, as well as the security system (antivirus, firewall, etc. if you are going to use it on the net, & since you have to use the net to update the laptop, save yourself some frustration & do all of the updates right away so you are not trying to hassle with a virus, malware, etc down the line.After having a lot of speed issues with an older laptop, as soon as I set up this laptop I was sure to change all of the settings to make it run "best for performance" & not to select the option to let the computer decide what that may be.This laptop has a nice, solid feel to it. The power adaptor has an angled plus, which I LOVE for long term durability. The speakers are very good. We can easily hear the videos, lessons, chats, etc, & there is still room to turn the volume up higher.We have been using this laptop for personal use such as email, surfing, watching videos, as well as online learning programs for school. It is FAST, has GREAT graphics & sound as well. It works well for video chatting too. It will go to college with one of my kids too for exams, etc. We have been using it at home until it is needed for college & are quite impressed with the performance, speed, etc. If the college student needs it frequently, we will probably get another one for home use for the other kids because it can be hard sharing a computer with several family members.We are very happy with this laptop & would purchase it again!

This is a great laptop for the price. It came well protected in the mail and it was a quick and easy set up. I was surprised at the speed of the laptop. It is definitely a great deal. I was also impressed with the quality. The is a good size laptop, and good for watching videos. I need a laptop for school, and occasionally watching movies. This is perfect for what I need! And for a great price!

I purchased this solely to be my back up computer. Within one week of purchase, good friend was in need of a new computer. I gave it to him. He has since told me he loves it. I know he will get good use out of it.

2 months after purchase and it stopped charging. It’s dead and Best Buy wants a $200 deposit to look at it.Admittedly I paid very little for it so it’s not worth fixing.

This laptop ran fast enough, but it was unusable because the second time I turned it on, the screen would flicker and become black when I moved the mouse pad or the mouse I connected. I sent it back and was refunded my money. I would not recommend anyone purchase this particular laptop.

I wanted a new laptop after using an iPad for several years. I’d had a Dell 'budget' laptop and never liked it. That laptop cost more than this one. This new one is light weight, has a very decent picture and I’m really liking the keyboard. The keyboard is full size and has a 10 key number pad. Other reviewers have stated it feels too lightweight and almost breakable. But I like the heft and feel.I have not owned a Windows computer for many years and am having to learn Windows 11, which is giving me fits…All in all, I think this is a sturdy, well made computer and I’m really liking it!EDIT:The more I use this computer, the more I’m liking it. Very fast, feels good and I love the full keyboard. The only things I’m not liking so far is Windows 11 (which I am having to learn like a new rookie); and the speaker is the crappiest I’ve ever heard (but the Bluetooth makes up for it)

Picture is blurry at times when watching video's! As for the sound when watching video's, it is terrible!! You can barely hear the sound! I have to sit within a foot of the computer to hear or use my headphones! Very disappointed!!

I bought this laptop for my daughter who is just starting college and will have a couple online classes. So far it's been a very nice laptop and has been working great! She's added the programs that she needs for her online classes to it without any problems at all. The battery life seems to last a long time too. She really likes it a lot and says it's very easy to navigate.
