Great gift
Gave this to my nephew today for Christmas and he loves it. So far his top gift of all the things he got.

Not amazing but not bad
So it keeps falling down when ever I hit it so I had to pick it up a lot if I don’t have it here a wall but it was fine

Needs sand or water in base to return to upright position
Nice heavy vinyl. Hard to inflate all of the way. Needs anchored to return to upright position

Not what I expected
This is not what I expected. One good punch and it would be destroyed. Returned.

Nephews Loving It
My nephews love this thing! It's bigger than I anticipated it being - I don't know why; 65" is what it is, but that just seems bigger once you get it blown up. We got this because my nephews kept coming out to my garage gym and hitting my heavy bag as a game, but I just didn't want them getting hurt on my exercise equipment, so we decided to get something scaled to their size/ability; when you imagine a toy, you just don't picture 65" accurately, I guess! Anyways, it is perfect for them - 4, 6, 8yos. The 4yo mostly just slaps it, drive by style. But the older boys can, and often do, go to town and burn some of their overflowing energy on this, to their hearts content.Quality seems quite good. Water bag and air bags are tight, no leaks. I could see an air seam coming loose over time, perhaps (it is a $25 toy after all), but that remains to be the case. Obviously it's not heavy enough that an adult can swing at it with much effort before the thing is moving all over the place, but it's sufficiently anchored and weighted for a child. If you have a trained 10-12yo (ie martial arts of any kind), I will say that this will become insufficient pretty quickly as they develop any level of skill/muscle, so just keep that in mind. If your little one is legitimately training their strikes, I'd recommend you consider something other than an airbag so they don't outgrow it too quickly - that said, you are talking a not-insignificant price jump for a halfway decent bag or stand, but that's the difference between a toy and proper gym equipment, FWIW. HOWEVER, for what you get here, it punches well above its price class (see what I did there) in quality and capability. Another note from an average gym joe who attended enough martial arts classes to be annoying and hits a bag regularly for fitness - even though it's an air bag, if your kid is starting to get the hang of things and is really intently punching and swinging with force (for my nephews, this didn't take long before they were giving it their all), I'd highly recommend 1) teaching basics of proper form and then 2) get gloves. Not trying to promote munchkins to be little fighters - it's just safer and will protect them from possible injury to their wrists, knuckles, and fingers (added benefit: swinging with gloves will tire them out faster).

Kid's Stress Buster: A Punching Bag That Saves the Day
Life with kids can be a rollercoaster, and we stumbled upon an unexpected solution for those challenging moments: an inflatable punching bag made from thick PVC material. It has surprisingly become a valuable addition to our home. The durability of this punching bag is impressive. Enduring a relentless barrage of kicks and punches, it bounces back immediately with no signs of wear or tear. The smooth and seamless surface ensures that even after thousands of hits, there's no risk of skin damage for our energetic little ones. What's even better is that this frustration-fighting tool doubles as a source of fun and healthy exercise. It's become a go-to toy for our kids to release stress and pent-up energy in a safe and athletic way. The act of punching and kicking not only strengthens physical fitness but also boosts their confidence. It's a win-win for both parents and kids, providing an alternative to violent outbursts and allows us to focus that energy into something positive. The sturdy bottom base is great for maintaining stability. With a 24-inch diameter, it resists tilting or being knocked down but you will need to fill the base with 5-6 gallons of water to add that layer of stability, ensuring the punching bag stays firmly in place. Sand might work even better but water was the easiest and has worked pretty well so far. The upper air chambers are soft and safe, allowing our kids to unleash their fury without any worries.Setting up this “frustration vent” couldn't be easier. Fill the base with water or sand, inflate the upper part and the connection, and you're ready for action. So long story short, if you're looking for a practical and enjoyable way for your kids to release stress, build confidence, and stay active, this Punching Bag is a possible answer.

Perfect for my 11yo
This feels durable, it has held up well since Christmas (it's April now), gets lots of use, have only had to top up the air once, and my son loves it! Recommended. Note: it does not come with a pump. We have inflatable kayaks and the pump for them fits this perfectly, and was quick and easy to inflate. The hardest part was getting the sand in the bottom to weigh it down. It was time consuming and a bit messy, but I laid a garbage bag under my work space and it kept the mess contained and was easy to get any spilled sand into the base. I chose not to use water because... well... that's a lot of water that could potentially spill. ;)

A decent bag that's more durable than expected
To my surprise, this is a lot more robust than I thought it would be. At almost 5.5’ tall it’s fairly large, and is almost the same size as a standard heavy bag. The material is thicker than I expected, and feels quite durable. This obviously isn’t something you'd want to hit with full power, but it can withstand a lot more than you'd think.Setup is easy if you’re just filling it with air, but it's a little more involved if you plan to use water or sand in the base. If possible, I’d recommend filling it in the room you plan to keep it in. I tried filling it from the kitchen sink, and that led to two problems. First was the spilled water I had to clean up, and the second was moving it once it was inflated. It’s not overly heavy (depending on how much water is in it), but it's easy to trip over; especially if you're trying to maneuver it down a hallway. The directions say to fill/inflate the base first, but I’d recommend starting with the middle pillar. That valve is much smaller that the others, and none of the adaptors on my inflator would fit. I ended up having to blow air into it which isn't very easy, so try not to leave that section until last. This is a great starter bag for younger kids who are interested in boxing, martial arts, etc. It's tall enough to allow for a range of styles and training options, and the soft vinyl is easy on hands and knuckles so there's no fear of injury. At $49.99 I think this is decently priced, though you can find competing products that retail for less. If you can get it while they’re still offering the $20 coupon, however, I think it's a fabulous deal.My rating: 4 stars

Fun punching bag for kids
This is a really fun punching bag for kids. My kids are in karate and they've been asking for a hanging punching bag. The older one can punch and kick very hard (green belt) but doesn't know to control his strength so we thought the hanging punching bag would not be a good option for him. We do want anything to happened to our house. So I thought this would be good for them to at least have something to punch and kick, release stress, and to be away from the electronics. It was a pain filling the base with water but when it was eventually set up, the kids are having a blast with it. Even the adults are enjoying punching and kicking with the kids. It's a good way to spend family time. It's also good for everyone in the family to get some exercise.

This thing can take a POUNDING!
I got this so our kid could practice is Muay Thai without the need to go to the gym all the time and my goodness, ive had this less than a week and he must have spent an easy 10 hours on it already. The base of it fills up with water so it doesnt move at all, the quality of the material is excellent, its nice and thick so me, 55 years young, I can smack the heck out of it and it just rebounds back without any issues. Ive only had to inflate it once and it seems to hold air well, even after 10 hours of brutal torture for this thing, I still havent had to fill it up with air. It rebounds nice and quick and especially if you're hitting it and rotating around it, it shouldnt deform or not rebound, it has everytime and our son loves using it.
