Carpet Rake

I bought this to do one task. Fluff up my carpet nap after shampooing the carpet. For this task it deserves a 5 star rating. Professionals will shampoo carpet then fluff the fiber/nap. The carpet will dry faster and it takes longer to flatten the fibers back down. See carpet photo. However, this item is too lightweight for the task and breaks near the handle. I have purchase 2 of these and both have broken with minimal usage. 2 stars as it does one job well but it breaks too easily.

I know you're thinking, "it's just a rake". Let me tell you something sis, this rake has encouraged me to take my daily cleaning on a while new level. I didnt even know these were a thing until a week before my husband got me mine. Girl, let me tell you! Life changing. Now do I not only use this to vacuum but to also fluff the carpet after its been scrubbed so it cuts down the drying time By Hours!!! Thing was kind of a pain because it did not come with the handle and the one my husband bought was not the correct dimensions (even though I gave him the little paper 🙄) but her made it work and I have used it every single day three times a day. It has not broken anything but a sweat from me. And now that I'm not spending hours on just trying to get my carpet to feel right, I have more time to obsess over the rest of my home (much to my kids discomfort). Also, if you put one of those yellow rags you find in the auto section and some Murphys oil soap on the end, works excellent at scrubbing boogers off the walls (my son is a butt nugget).

This product really doesn't lift the carpet. I think maybe if the carpet were new it would work better but it's an older carpet I've been here for 8 years so The carpet's made it down and it just isn't working. also it would be really really nice if it actually shipped with the handle. It was actually harder than I thought to find a handle that fit it

Its a lot of hard work but good results! you have go go to your home improvement store and buy a dawl rod- but that was ok. You insert the rod and tack in a small nail.... a screw works better.Heres the thing, you have to exert alot of manual labor, it is what it says.... Rake. You are literally raking your carpet and it takes some energy out of you!! I have done it, and i do it all the time. I LOVE this product, not love like my favorite purse, but love like... Like, a good tool that's a necessity around the house.I live in a apartment with crappy apartment carpet. In all the walkways and where the dog sleeps i sprinkle Arm & Hammer baking soda rake it into the carpets, then 30 min or so later (usually the next day) I vacuum it up. My carpets stay lighter and fluffier until they need it again. I does and excellent job at pulling out years worth of dirt that had never been gotten by my vacuum alone.I give it 5 stars and a must have tool around the house!!

This was the 2nd one I purchased (the first one was with a different company.) This version is most excellent and I love how effective it is when removing pet hair from carpet and a thousand times easier than using the vacuum cleaner (on stairs). I even bragged about this one to my family in other states.

Does not work for any type of hair. Specifically bought it to help maintain the carpets because we have a dog who sheds seasonally and this rake couldn’t pick up or “clump” together any hair. Useless device unless you want to get on your hands and knees to use it, and in the off chance you have a spare broom/mop/rake handle good luck attaching it to this item. Wanted to give this item a 0/5. Would Not recommend unless you enjoy casual carpet raking sessions

I gave it 1 star since I have to still go out and buy a handle for it! The picture show's it with a handle, yet nothing in the description stating otherwise. Borderline deceptive marketing.......

I love this rake!! The bristles are study enough to get deep in your carpet and it pulls up everything. I use before I vacuum. It is fantastic on getting any kind of hair (animal or human) out of the carpet. It does not come with a handle but you can get one from Home Depot. The people that say it breaks easily must be applying too much pressure.

Flimsy and does not work. Requested a return and they closed the request saying ‘solved a technical issue’. Nothing was solved and item is such poor quality it did nothing at all for my carpet.

If you're looking for a rack to pick up pet hair, keep looking, because this one doesn't do it at all. Vendor w-mailed me asking how I liked it. I replied, saying it was not what I thought it was. Never heard back from them.

Didn't come with handle, which is fine but didn't really refresh the carpet as hoped. Does the job but almost the same as the vacuume does.
