Nice steering wheel cover for a great price
I bought this to protect the leather steering wheel on a two new cars I bought in 2023. I have hyperhidrosis, aka sweaty hands. I can take a toll on a steering wheel over time. The body oil and grime can make leather look dirty. And the salt in sweat can actually eat away at the finish on leather. So it's either wear driving gloves or find a way to protect the steering wheel itself. These looked to be a cost effective solution and I love Alcantara in general. I've had it on seats in sports cars and it held up really well while keeping me planted in the seat during hard turns. The car interior is black so I ordered this in black. It looks like it's part of the factory wheel. Slightly darker and a flatter, less glossy black than the leather it's covering but it really does look like it's an OEM design decision. As for installation, the two pieces install or remove on my wheel in less than 30 seconds. And they cover from about 1-5 o'clock on the right side and 7-11 o'clock on the left side. They can also be removed and repositioned easily if you mess up.The feel is really nice. There's plenty of friction to keep the cover pieces in place. And there's a great feel to the Alcantara under your hand. Grippy enough with a little pressure but lighten up a bit and the steering wheel will still spin itself straight coming out of a corner. It's also cooler in summer and warmer in winter than leather. With that said, both my new cars have heated steering wheels and while the covers do maybe slow down the heating process a little, it's not bad. The wheel still warms up enough to feel the warmth. These are reasonably thin at the claimed 1.7 mm or .0669 inches. They add a little thickness but nothing drastic. I have reasonably large hands so the added thickness feels better to me.As bonus, because these are easily removable, you can pop them off if / when they get grimy from your hands and simply wash them with dish soap in the kitchen sink. They should dry pretty quickly. Then just snap them back in place. As noted in the product listing, you can get two different looks by having the scalloped edge or the straight edge facing towards the driver. I tried both but went with the straight edges facing the driver. The scalloped edges are an attempt to integrate with the sculpting on the factory wheel. But the wavy bumps didn't line up well on my factory wheel. The straight edge looks a lot more like an OEM solution than an aftermarket add on. And the Alcantara looks a lot better than the fake wood grain options that are never gonna match the factory woods (IMHO).All in all, I highly recommend this inexpensive steering wheel cover.

Amazing, looks like part of the wheel
I don't understand the negative reviews or why this is heavily returned. To me, installing is a sinch, it isnt that bad to remove (remove from the edge and bend out) and it looks great. I use B side facing me. Fits a 21 Nissan Frontier steering wheel like it was made for it specifically. Feels and looks stock

The fix for Mercedes, white steering wheels!
Mercedes has been using white steering wheels in a lot of their new vehicles. Usually they are smart enough to put wood on the top which are the high areas of wear. But my model was full white leather all the way around . And when I bought the car the top of the steering wheel was worn out and ugly looking. I did not want to put a full steering wheel cover on the wheel as the rest of it is in great shape. This wood cap match the color of the factory wood and fit tightly on the top of the steering wheel. I like that the rest of the steering wheel is still the original leather and not some cheap steering wheel cover. You get two equal size wood pieces in the package. So if one wears out, you could use the other one, as I am only using it on the top of the steering wheelSo if you have a white Mercedes leather, Steering wheel, I highly recommend placing these on the top of the steering wheel. The steering wheel cap has two different designs on both sides, one side of these covers, it is a curved line, but on the other side, it is a squiggly line. So you have the choice of which design you want showing facing forward. I don’t really know why people would want the squiggly pattern, facing forward as shown in all the advertising pictures, as you can see, I installed it with the normal curved line facing forward , the backside has the squiggly line where your fingers go

Not safe!!
Nice idea but not safe!! These covers don't fit tight enough on the steering wheel and can slip and move while driving...I returned for a refund.NOT SAFE!!

Was concerned it would mark the steering wheel
I ended up returning this one. It looks good and loved the color (black wood grain). But it fits very snug an i was worried it would make the original steering wheel material.

Nice touch
Pop right into my steering wheel. They don't move after installation. Soft and comfy material. Great for summer and freezing weather.
