Bought this anticipating potential problems but this works really well. The pivot to adjustable the angle is incredibly smooth and the cable feels durable. Used this in a bathroom to connect a bidet

Works great with covered (exterior) outlets where the cord need to emerge at a particular spot so the outlet cover can be closed.

Worked just as needed for LED lights in kids room.

For the times when you need to plug something into the wall behind the dresser, these work great. They're also useful when you need to plug in one of those bulky DC converter plugs into a power strip. The plug on the male end rotates nicely so you don't block an adjacent outlet. The male end is also nice and flat to make easier to get furniture closer to the wall. However, one drawback is the width of the male plug. On some power strips, the male plug makes it difficult to plug anything next to it. You sure can't use another identical cord next to it. But that's not a problem in all situations and sometimes a little planning can over come that issue. I need to buy some more extension cords like this and will probably go with something slightly different. But I will still use these cords in places.

IDK if the guys that built my house did it on purpose, but most of my outlets are positioned behind where I decided to put furniture. Supposing you want to plug in a lamp or a fan, but there’s a bookshelf blocking the outlet. These flat plug extension cords solve that problem. Your situation may be different, but for me, these plugs are slightly thinner than my baseboards, so you can use them behind furniture that you can push right up against the wall. And since the plugs rotate, you can use two cords on one outlet and have them go whichever direction you need. You don’t have to worry about buying left or right facing cords.

I'd never bought one of these rotating plugs. Skeptical, that's me.But it seems to work fine. It's much easier to keep my cords neat when they're not sticking out from the wall an extra two inches.
