Good quality and look good on table, do the job perfectly

Having spent a fortune on sticky pads, that are hopeless! Theses are brilliant. Soft pad means you can move the chair easily.

The chair socks are easy to fit onto the chair legs and seem like they would hold well, until you actually move the chair! Each time I move the chair to sit or place back the socks move and eventually come right off. Not worth buying.

I have to confess that when I put the first one of these on the first chair we both had a good laugh as it looked as if I was bandaging it's leg, but having fitted all four chairs with them, it is a huge improvement!We have a ceramic tiled floor and wooden chairs and table, and whenever a chair was moved, with or without a person sitting in it, there was usually an awful screech that could be deafening at times.We have just eaten our first meal at the table with these fitted on the chairs and what a joy to have peace, quiet and virtual silence whenever a chair was moved!I don't know how long these have been available to buy, but I just wish we'd had them years ago! I certainly wouldn't want to be without them now.The socks were delivered in a vacuum-sealed bag (so more environmentally friendly and economical on transport and storage) and there are 30 in the bag. Having needed 16, I have plenty of spares left for if and when they wear through, and at less than 25p each, it doesn't break the bank.If I were to request one improvement on the design, it would be for them to be also made in a paler colour so they blend in with the wood of the furniture (our chairs are similar wood to the listing photo of the chair and desk with the clock on it), but, for us, the size and shape is perfect. They have a circular base (looks rather like suede, but the listing says it's felt), and the sock is the perfect length for our chairs which have an ornamental circle around them which now sits exactly above the sock top (see photo).Really quick and simple to fit solution to the nerve-jarring screech of the past. Very happy.
