Apocalypticism, Prophecy, and Magic in Early Christianity: Collected Essays Paperback – June 1, 2008

Written at a very scholarly level. It required careful reading on my part, but most of the book remains for my future reading. However, in the interest of better hermeneutics of the apocalyptic genre, this is a gold mine of Jewish second temple writings and other earlier non-Jewish use of the genre.
