Every Day a Miracle: Trusting the God Who Heals Us Inside and Out

LOVE this deep dive on the topic of miracles that reveals Jesus as Savior AND Healer! Excellent!
I was blessed to read this book prior to its official release for an interview with Pastor Matt Brown. As someone who has been sharing miracles and testimonies for over five years, I found his book to be thorough, covering the types of miracles and also with scriptural references that were very helpful. Loved his humility as he shared his experiences as a Pastor and his own challenges. My mind was blown by the miracle in chapter 12 where a young boy is resurrected from the dead after not breathing on his own for 8 hours-wow. Even so, as Matt said, we don't base our faith on these Lazarus type miracles. We must learn to see Jesus as Savior and Healer while basing our faith in what He CAN do, not what He will do.The "soul cry" is something many will relate to in this book as well. Loved what he wrote about hitting that place where you are at the end of yourself. Powerful!LOVED the codes in each section that you can scan and get a video to accompany the book and discussion questions. This would make a GREAT Bible study for those who are celebrating their miracles, those that are waiting on their miracle and for those that got a no on this side of heaven. It is really a book and workbook wrapped into one, which makes for a great value. I have not seen the videos yet, but I trust they are well done as I have seen his other sermons and podcast interviews. This is a TIMELY and RELEVANT book for these days! Jesus wants to do miracles through our obedience and He can work through us NOW if we step out in faith and pray in HIS name. We also need to learn to trust Him regardless of the outcome or timing.

The world needs miracles again
I received an advance copy of this book from my friend Pastor Matt and I'm so glad it gives you a picture of the down to earth and honest person I know. This is not fiction. Reading has encouraged me to see our world much like the early days of the church, where the miracles of God confirmed the preached gospel message to a secular and doubting world and I was challenged to pray for those miracles more in the lives of my lost friends. We need stories like these to remind us to pray bigger prayers and take bigger risks for the glory of God. Such a fun and easy book to pick up and renew my prayer life again.
