Outstanding swimming headphones
I bought a pair of the Mojawa Run Plus headphones earlier this month. I have had bone conduction headphones for swimming and non-aquatic purposes for a number of years including early and later generations of FINIS and Shokz. I chose the Mojawa after watching a video about the latest generation bone conduction headphones on Andy's Tech Tone on YouTube, never having heard of the company before. They are easily the best set of bone conduction headphones I have used. They are exceptionally good in the water with an audio quality that is excellent for music but equally so for the spoken voice in audiobooks. This is what I wanted. They are good as well out of the water. By chance I managed to borrow both a cheaper competitor and a more expensive one. The Mojawa won hands down. They are comfortable and easy to use. One early glitch was the touch pad which is affected by the water in MP3 mode. The instructions on how to lock the touch pad were not clear at all. But an email to customer service at the company was answered promptly and I sorted it out (a quick quadruple press of the power button while in Bluetooth mode, which results in a fifth final 'plip' sound to indicate they are locked). Then move to MP3 mode by the double click (click and hold to be precise). A call out to Jessie in customer service who was outstanding in assistance. I don't tend to do reviews but these are so good, I wanted to post. Yes, the system of loading MP3 files system is laborious but that's the same for all bone conduction headphones in the water. And using AudioHijack (freeware) it is easy to convert audiobooks into MP3 files and I can swim for hours. Brilliant headphones and strongly recommended.

Great headphones with brilliant customer support if needed.
Bought these and the touch pad stopped working after using them six or seven times. I contacted the manufacturer directly and there after sales team were so helpful. New replacement head phones were sent. Buy with confidence there support if needed is 1st class. Headphones are great with good sound quality and long battery life.

Time to reflect
Bought these a year ago and they worked ok but needed to wear ear plugs to shut out background noise however, I’ve just charged them up again and now they won’t power up at all tried everything but they still won’t work.

Great Headphones & Great Customer Service
Bought mine in Dec 2023 and my wife started stealing them the first week so I bought her some and we both love them. I hate having to carry my phone to exercise so the MP3 function is very important to me. My MP3 function stopped working in August 2025 and I email customer service. They tried to guide me through updates but after that didn’t work they sent me brand new ones. I can’t comment on swimming because I haven’t tried that yet but all other functions are great. They stay tight to my head which helps with the sounds where others I have owned never did. Their customer service was thorough and quick to respond, the best I have ever had off of an Amazon purchase. I am sure I will stick with this brand for all my exercise needs for years to come.

Terrible
I received a replacement pair for the original set 2 weeks ago and today they stopped working completely, exactly the same as the first pair. I bought the original pair in March. Such a pity because when they work the sound is excellent but while the company have a no quibble replacement attitude it takes weeks for the new pair to arrive from Hong Kong.I bought a much cheaper pair on Amazon while I was waiting and they are still good.

Good sound quality in the water
The sound quality is good underwater, but there are a few issues: - Switching to MP3 mode is not straightforward. - The device announces any setting changes in the microphone, and while I'm listening to music, I can hear it adjusting the settings on its own, even when I'm not touching anything. - Out of the water, the sound volume is not high enough I am still happy with the product and recommend it for swimming only.

freediving practice’s perfect buddy
As a freediver who basically lives in the water, boredom during static apnea and dynamic training used to be my worst enemy—too many thoughts = too much oxygen wasteful . A friend recommended this bone-conduction headset, and I bought it thinking, “Why not?”… and now I can’t live without it. First of all, the IPX8 waterproof rating is no joke. It feels like this thing was designed specifically for people like us who train underwater. I’ve worn it for 45-minute static sessions, dynamic swims, turns, everything—no issues at all. And the sound underwater has this dreamy, almost otherworldly quality. Listening to music or a podcast instantly calms my mind and makes my training way more enjoyable. Even better, I can shower with it, swim with it, run in the rain with it—this little beast is truly water-proof, sweat-proof, and stress-proof. The conduction performance is surprisingly good underwater. I expected it to sound thin or shaky, but the audio is clear and stable—almost more immersive when submerged. It keeps me focused during freediving practice and helps me get into that relaxed flow state. Comfort-wise, it’s another winner. It’s lightweight, soft, and doesn’t squeeze your head. Whether I’m doing a two-hour pool session or going for a bike ride or a jog, it stays perfectly in place without slipping. And because it’s open-ear, my hearing isn’t blocked—I can still hear lane announcements, lifeguards, or what’s going on around me. For divers and athletes, that’s a huge plus for safety. And here’s the funny part: a dive instructor friend of mine—who’s a hardcore swimmer—tried mine once and instantly got addicted. He even stole my pink headset, which he’s proudly using now 😂. Turns out, real tough guys can absolutely rock pink, and honestly, the color is gorgeous. Performance-wise, it checks all the boxes: 8-hour battery life—enough for a full day of training + commuting Magnetic charging—easy even with wet hands Large, tactile buttons—super easy to press underwater or with gloves Clear, loud sound that cuts through water and wind without being harsh If I had to point out a “flaw,” it’s that it doesn’t block out environmental noise—but for outdoor activity and water training, that’s actually a safety feature. Overall, this bone-conduction headset hits everything I need: no earplugs, truly waterproof, comfortable, stable, and solid audio performance. For someone like me who spends half my life in the pool or ocean, it’s more than gear—it’s a training partner. Highly recommended for swimmers, freedivers, scuba divers, and anyone who loves movement + music.
