From any distance, this pendant looks like a silver heart with a lovely blue stone in the center. When you look at it more closely, you can see that it is actually 2 silver swans with their necks together in the shape of a heart. There are tiny sparkle chips on the swans surrounding the blue stone. The pendant itself is approximately 1 1/4" long. The chain is 18" long with a 2" extension.The necklace arrives in a folded long plastic zip baggy so that the chain doesn't get tangled in transit. The plastic bag is in a blue box with silver lettering that reads "JD&P" on the front/top of the box. The inside base of the box has a black "velvet" interior. The necklace also comes with a 3" by 2 1/4" jewelry cleaning cloth.This necklace would make a very nice gift to someone special in your life. Since it comes in a box with a "velvet" interior base, you could take the necklace out of the bag and place it into the "velvet" for a nice gift presentation. There is nothing shy about this necklace pendant! True to the product advert, the gemstone is large and shines just as beautifully. The diamonds aren't quite as distinctive because the gemstone is such a focal point, but they do add to the overall brilliance of the pendant.Out of all of the jewelry I've ever selected for gifting and/or review, this is one of the more impressive items - due to both the size and quality of the gemstone. While the swans are not very distinguishable from afar, that is common for these types of pendants, as they're meant to draw you in for a closer look, and this one does just that!

The swan sapphire is a very large gorgeous statement piece. I do love it however wasn't expecting something so big and attention grabbing. The sapphire is eye catching and definitely males for a great conversation or gift.
