If I am completely honest, when I read the ingredients I was fairly horrified. It shouldn't take so many things not found in a typical kitchen just to make a simple chicken gravy. But I had already purchased the jar and I'm too frugal (some say cheap!) to waste something unless it's spoiled or really awful tasting. This wasn't awful, it was very easy to make, and it made the leftover cornbread dressing from Thanksgiving edible. I'm not sure I would buy it again before trying another alternative.

How many times have you opened a jar of gravy to put on meat and potatoes and being a single person, put the jar back in the fridge saying to yourself, "I'll have to make something else that needs gravy this week and use that up" only to find a month later that the jar is still in your fridge. And, not only is the jar still in your fridge, it's glass so it has to be recycled. So do you open the mold filled jar of gravy, dump it and wash the jar? Or, do you hide the 3/4 full jar of moldy gravy in a dark bag and toss it in the regular garbage?Welcome to my life! Sometimes you just want to make a portion of mashed potatoes and just need gravy. That comforting combo is just awesome. But unfortunately, you end up in the situation in my first paragraph.Enter this item. They are like boullion cubes but each one makes gravy. No more half filled jars! You get about 4 ounces of gravy from each cube which is great for one or two people. I am going to try to cut one of the cubes in half next time because I only use a couple of tablespoons on potatoes. Will be trying the other flavors for sure.

repeat ordered based on using the first jar. Individual foil wrapped semi flexible bouillon cubes.... so you could use just a 1/2 cube if that fit your need. Very flavorful and not just salty, but real flavor. I use this in chicken recipes and soups too.Excellent product. Only tried Turkey flavor because it worked so well in chicken dishes and all soups so I'm sticking with it.

Excellent flavor and consistency. I have used by itself as gravy and as part of a vegan cream of mushroom soup. In both cases it was awesome. Flavor is great!

These have a very light flavor in my opinion and are a bit waxy. Maybe I haven’t used them correctly. Idk. I thought this product was just ok.

Try this, it's amazing! You won't find a hard clump of salt and dries spices, this is soft and easily dissolvable. I use it in hot water for broth, and I have all the other flavors they offer. I love this product and always keep plenty on hand! Give it a try, you will not regret it!!

If you’re vegan and missing gravy, I was, this is a pretty good substitute.
