Ethereal Echoes and Cavernous Canyons of Righteous Reverb
Was looking for a versatile reverb that stood out from the rest and wouldn't break the bank. The Earthquaker Ghost Echo built a loyal following and had a lot of good reviews. I thought I would take a chance and I am thrilled that I did. This thing sings! Does as little or as much as you can imagine. Vintage reverbs from the late 50's and early 60's to harmonious modern sounds that remind me of spaghetti westerns. You can get lost in the different sounds the Ghost Echo creates. Dripping with cooler sounds! The switch is silent. No interference or crosstalk. Built like a tank. Well engineered. I like where they located the jacks, on the back so you can stack other Earthquaker pedals side-by-side.Picked up the Earthquaker Westwood pedal to round out the pedalboard. Very impressed with their quality, versatility, engineering and construction. Even more impressed by the results!

Amazing vintage/organic reverb tones.
This pedal is extremely good at what it does. The depth of the reverb/echo is incredible. It is so much more lush and believable than any other pedal I have used (although I haven't had an opportunity to try some of the pricier options out there). It's also quite versatile even with minimal controls. You can go anywhere from slight ambience to full-blown self-oscillating madness. It definitely has vintage, warm/organic tone in mind so if you want a crystal clear, modern sort of sound with really precise controls, perhaps it might not be for you. Otherwise, it is just an outstanding sounding (and seemingly well-constructed/durable) pedal at a relatively low price compared to others. As a side note, I owned an older version of the Ghost Echo (I don't know if it was V1 or V2) and I think the new V3 is a step-up in sound quality and comes in a smaller enclosure with more capable controls and louder output. So I would urge you to try this new version before maybe spending a bit less on an older one.

Gorgeous reverb!
Now, normally I wouldn't spend nearly $200 on a reverb pedal but this one has such a solid base of positive reviews I had to see what the fuss was all about. Before this, I've been playing through an Electro Harmonix Neo Holy Grail, itself a decent reverb. But the Ghost Echo is something else. It's lush, and "full" sounding. Yet it also sits behind your signal and doesn't muddy up your tone. You're probably thinking: It's a reverb, how many sounds can it really do? Surprisingly, a lot. Sure, there's only three knobs but the pre-delay is a game-changer. It's what turns this reverb into a ghastly, spooky "echo" as named. What pre-delay is is a slight pause between the guitar signal and the start of the reverb effect. It almost doubles your phrasing but ... with reverb.Fascinating pedal, for sure.

Deep Canyons
Wondrous pedal -- really lets me explore my ghost nature and carves out wide swaths of the haunted wild west. It's beyond reverb, adding a spectral tail of delay. Great construction, of course, and a very "soft" switch (no audible click to interfere with your trance).

It sounds like a ghost reverb.
I don't know how they did it, but man they nailed it. My favorite new reverb. It sounds haunting, unlike any of my other reverbs (and I have a ton).

Cult of reverb
Didn’t know how much I needed this pedal until I bought it, now it’s a permanent fixture on my board. Perfect both for vintage 50s twang and 60s jangle. Also crucial for getting the signature tones of bands like the Cult and the Chameleons.
