Does more than any other dock I've had, though Ethernet gets hot.
I was using this primarily to obtain USB-C video out to connect to a portable monitor, which worked flawlessly, consistent with other reviews. I then decided to try a few other things out. First, I switched my ethernet cable from my other dock to this dock, and it worked perfectly fine, but this dock got very hot, so I decided to leave that on my other dock. It would, in all likelihood, be fine, but I didn't want to risk it. It would be cool if they fixed that somehow, so that I could get rid of my other dock. Second, I decided to see how this would handle my ultrawide monitor via HDMI, even though I had my laptop outputting via Displayport. Initially, at 3440x1440, the resolution was very distorted. I went into the advanced display setting for the 3440x1440 monitor within Win 11, and changed the refresh rate from 60hz to 100hz (max supported by my monitor over HDMI), and it completely fixed my resolution. This dock is exactly what I needed to be able to use two PCs in parallel, while sharing a portable USB-C monitor between the two PCs. The price is also excellent for what you get. Hoping this thing lasts me a long time, I've had it for a couple months or so now.

Great for getting USB-C video output! One caveat: HDMI can be capped at [email protected] Hz
My work laptop has two Thunderbolt ports and I've been using both for video output: the first for connecting to an eGPU and the second for driving an ASUS monitor with touch and pen input. Thanks to this docking station with USB C Video+Data USB-C port, I'm glad that I can now get both Ethernet and Display output from the second Thunderbolt port. What has been tested to work (on Win 11 laptop): 1. The ASUS monitor with touch and pen input still works a intended (one may need to configure it again in "Tablet PC Settings"). 2. The Ethernet connection is solid, at 1000/1000 Mbps. What doesn't work as expected: 1. With the port for USB C Video+Data connected and Ethernet cable connected, the HDMI output only supports [email protected] Hz. The same cable+monitor works at 4K@60 Hz when connected to the laptop's HDMI port directly. 2. When a DJI mic was connected to the USB-C port on the hub for the first time, the mic wasn't registered. Rebooting helped.

Good hub. Configures immediately under win 10/11
Good hub to use. I could not get running under win 7, but I don't think they claimed it would. But I couldn't find any drivers for it basically. But it works great under Win 10 and 11 since they pull the drivers from the online repository. Has good speed and compatibility with both USB keyboards, USB wireless mouses, and USB drives.

Got replacement from Inateck
Pros: Light weight Cons: Gets very hot. Update: I got replacement from Inateck and it is working good for me. It is not 5 star for me this runs very hot. They could have made it aluminium to dissipate heat more effectively. Original review: Connected two SSD drives and disconnects intermittently. Connected to portable monitor and display works. May be not a good solution if you want to use HDDs instead of flash drives. Runs very hot too.

Steam Deck + DP Alt Mode + Portable Monitor
I've been searching for a long time for a USB-C dock with DP Alt Mode for my Steam Deck and portable monitor. It works exactly how it should, powering on the portable monitor and all other peripherals without issue.

Cheap and cheerful high-speed hub works as it should
Received product intact and on time with no problems. Shut down computer & unplugged 3 multi-terabyte-class HDDs and a BluRay player from the back of the computer, plugged this hub into a USB 3.2 port, and plugged the 4 devices into the hub. Note that each of these devices has its own, separate functioning power source--relying on this hub for any power whatsoever would be a mistake; that's not what it's for. Fired everything up. Did speed benchmarks with CrystalDiskMark (and I had run same with the devices plugged into the computer). Performance results for the HDDs were comparable. The BD worked. So, no complaints! If it goes belly up, I'll change the review, but right now, it appears to be performing per specs.

Good, but USB-C video output does not work
I bought this device in February 2025. Initially purchased to connect my Samsung S24 Ultra to my Dopesplay Lapdock with Samsung Dex support to be able to connect additional peripherals with my laptop-like experience. Without this device, my phone connects to the lapdock fine, but with this device the usb-c output does not work. HDMI works well, so if that is your use-case, then it should be fine. I reached out to Inateck, and they sent me a replacement to attempt to see if it was the one device I received. It was not. Still on the hunt for a usb-c dock with video output to use with these two devices. The build quality feels fine, but it is very light, leading me to believe (without a teardown) that some of the internals are made of cheap parts, lacking potential safety features. While I don't know this for sure, I strongly suspect it. I would recommend this if you are using it for HDMI output and if you are not leaving it plugged in 24/7. For $50, it is not what I wanted.

Great for Desktop
Wonderful. Cord is long (best for desk top) and the four USB points are well spaced. Doesn't hurt that is is easy on the eyes, too. But, please note: NOT for charging (not a drawback really, but you should be aware)
