Pretty simple
Was a little tricky to align when installing but was pretty easy otherwise. Looking forward to see what actual impact it has over the comming months. The timer that comes with it is pretty basic and I replaced with a z-wave to integrate with my home automation so I can disable when we are away and over-ride if we have visitors without having to venture out to the garage etc

It was more trouble that it was worth I never was able to save any money and took it off. I think a modern tank is insulated enough this really does not make a difference even if you live alone and only use hot water once a day. Also it is hard to fine tune so you wind up making the water hotter and your bill could go up. I think it is a very cleaver idea but maybe a little bit cheap and could be improved with metal mounting hardware. A lot of hype I wish I had not wasted my money.

Works perfectly, was really easy to install and I have even seen a drop in my propane usage. Really happy with the purchase.
