Blunt Classic, Aqua Blue, One Size

I get compliments on this umbrella all the time. Did not know an umbrella could be so good.The corners can wear thin after a lot of use. Only other con is that it's expensive, so I was sad when I lost this. Tells you a lot that I immediately had a new one shipped.

A quality umbrella, with a unique design and solid construction. I've bought two for my household and another as a gift. I've never been excited about an umbrella before, but there you have it.

I bought two of these umbrellas--I liked the different colors, wanted a backup, and thought the umbrellas would last a lifetime. The second umbrella that I bought broke after only two uses. The third time I tried to use it, in a downpour, it failed to fully open. It no longer latches at the top when I try to open it. I cannot see any difference between this newer umbrella and the one I purchased previously. I did not mistreat the umbrella and had barely used it prior to its failure to open. Prior to this I only purchased inexpensive, compact umbrellas. I have had rare failures with these umbrellas and only after years of repeated use. I purchased the Blunt band because I wanted an umbrella that wouldn't turn inside out in the wind and I also wanted a larger size than a compact umbrella provides. It does appear to be well built but after only two uses is inoperable. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this umbrella.

This is the best umbrella I've ever owned. It shipped fast! Stood outside in a downpour for a celebration of life and stayed perfectly dry. Great quality!

Nice size, well made, replaces one I lost...

Larger than what I expected but still love it!

For the price, I thought this would be the last umbrella I would ever buy. Unfortunately, that was not the case.One good thing is that it lasted 4 years, which is why I gave it 2 stars, but I expected more.The weak point is that the shaft is made up of 2 sections.I had mine in the car and one day I go to get it and the shaft had separated. How? I have no idea.I tried to put it back together but the metal is very thing and deforms easily so it was impossible.I contacted the company and showed them what happened but since the warranty was expired there was nothing they could do.

I have owned three of these.Blunt leads you to believe that they are unbreakable but they are just the opposite.The first one lasted two years but the mechanism failed. I thought I would give it another go so I bought another and that failed after a month. The store replaced it in April 2014 and it lasted until November 2014. We had a pretty dry summer so I had maybe used it a dozen times but last week we had a lot of rain in New York and the struts broke en masse. Its a terrible product.
