Akela Original Small Paws Grain Free working dog food 10kg VAT FREE

Fed both my dogs on Akela since they were pups, they are both happy and healthy 7 years on. Never had any issues with the food and both dogs wolf these down every mealtime. Nothing better out there.

It's the first time I've tried this type of food, my puppy is delighted and I'm delighted because it's a good product for the price, if you decide to feed your puppies dry food, this product is one to consider

First food my cavapoo has been excited about eating. He's not been a fussy pup and the breeder had him on Royal Canine when we brought him home but it was a real struggle to get him to eat it at all. After perceiving for a couple of months and doing research I tried Skinners Field and Trial Duck. He at this a little better but soon became uninterested by the time we were 2/3's of the way through the bag. Every time I put the bowl down he was pretty uninterested.The moment the delivery man put the bag down in the hall max was after it, digging at the bag, something uncharacteristic of him. Two months into this bag and Max is still in love with the food. Its a good size for large / medium dogs and the biscuits are flat rather than rounded. Dogs find it much easier to chew this way. We are over the moon with this food and the stats are the best I've seen. Calculating how much food to give per meal is really good and the table is clear to read.I did put it off buying because of price and also that its not prime. As someone who is self employed knowing EXACTLY (pretty much) when your package is getting to you is SO important.

I have a boarder terrier and after starting her on this brand she will eat nothing else and it is part of her diet along with small amount of chicken.I really recommend this food.

My dog doesn't want to eat this food as it is,I have noticed that he doesn't like fish smell lately and he has turned in a very picky eater.That doesn't mean there is something wrong with the food on the contrary this is great quality food.So I add some wet food and mix it and he eats it that way.5 stars!!!

My shih Tzu has just started on Akela fish feast small paws after coming off his puppy/junior food. He was getting really bored with his previous Brand of dry food (not Akela) and wasn't enthusiastic about eating it. I began researching which food I should give him once he reached adulthood as I really wanted to give him a food that was filled with goodness. I haven't had a dog for over 20 years when feeding your dog seemed much simpler than it does today. There is a vast amount of dog food out there to choose from and it can be quite overwhelming trying to find what's best for your dog. After looking at independent sites and reviews I decided that Akela was the one I would try for my dog. So far he's really enjoying it and always clears his bowl, also he doesn't seem hungry in between meals the way he was before. His weight seems to be good and stable I'm following the feeding instructions for his size. It's only a few weeks since starting on Akela and only time will tell but so far so good and I am happy to continue to feed him this food for as long as he is happy and content.

I’v given this a 4, grain free , great high grade dog kibble! Good ingredients, no fillers and my dogs love the taste!! No upset tummies for my dogs and didn’t need to feed as much as other foods so i think the value is exceptional compared to other high end dog foods.My only downside for me is it contains potatoe and yeast and these can affect some dogs stomachs, one of mine being one.Other than that can’t fault it :9)
