Great to have on hand
We tend to get cuts that are either in tough spots, or they need multiple bandaids. These are great to have, helps our wounds heal well.

Good emergency supplies
These work well as emergency stitches on moderate depth cut on a flat part of the body. They won't work on joints or angular areas, but they're definitely worth having since they're a painless option.

Bit pricy for five bandages - make sure to clip the coupon.
I ordered this set since my husband works a lot outside gardening and using cutting tools. I thought this would be good to have a set of wound closures that more than just a band-aid type bandage in case of an emergency. In my opinion, this set is a little pricy for what you get.Everything is sealed and packaged in sterile bags. In the Jolvka wound Closure Kit you get: 10 Alcohol Pads, 10 Povidone-Iodine Prep Pads, 10 Cotton Swabs, 5 Waterproof Dressing and 5 Wound Closure Devices and a set of instructions. However, the count for the 5 wound closure devices is a bit confusing. There are only three sterile packs. Two of the packs look like they can go on knees and the third package has three smaller type closures, but once you open the pack and use only one device, the other two are no longer sterile. To me, almost five dollars a bandage is too much.

I bought these for my 1st aid kit. Good packaging, good adhesion. Great price vs competitors.

JOLVKA Butterfly Bandaids Wound Closure - 5 pk - Laceration Closure Kit - Zip Stitch
The manufacturer package is entirely incorrect for the intent of the product. I received mine with nothing inside the thin, one side only taped cardboard container. Moreover, the second covering for the larger stitch product would not release from the thin plastic it protected. Therefore, once one removed the sticky protectant backing and stick it down, it would be best, in my experience in this purchase to have left it, the second top "peel off" stiffener there. However, the instructions don't say anything. Sadly we really needed this product and by the time the person applying it got this cover layer off (what to call it?) it was barely enough underplastic (the plastic that sticks to the skin to pull it together)... barely enough to function as intended. However, wounds being what they are - what to do? So left it - and what a mess - tape the bageezes out of it and hope for the best. - We will be returing to the prior brand we were using and hopefully will be here this next day since have been changing the bandages 2x's a day and this stitch product once a day, 24 hr period. There is not "advice" on changing time or use time and none that I found online. Moreover, since a primary care physician may not even be aware of products like this - no advice, in my case will be offered with how stuff like this goes today (do as they say, or get no service). So, I can't recommend this, with emphasis since the instructions are useless, and the top layer if even had a proper "pull tab" and this did NOT, it may not peel off and should then just be left there and bandaged over, as I can surmise or convey my experience. I can't see how leaving it would be a negative effect, especially if then applying a sterile over this as well. If the cut is oozing - one would have to as I understand this method of bandaging and first aid.I hope this helps someone. So, these folks need to up the Quality (esp per the PRICE) and Instructions.

Butterfly bandages on steroids...
The Jolvka Emergency Wound Closure Kit comes with everything you need to prep the wound for closure, a closure device, and a waterproof dressing to put over it. In the box you will find: five wound closure devices, two large and three small, five waterproof dressings, 10 povidone-iodine prep pads, 10 cotton swabs, and 10 alcohol pads. These closures are not made for scrapes, burns or jagged cuts. Instead, they are meant for that straight cut that probably needs a stitch or two, but your not willing to spend the time or money to have it done and it is not deep enough to force you to go.The closures are butterfly bandages on steroids, but just as easy to use. Take the backing off, put the adhesive next to one side of the wound, put the second adhesive next to the other side of the wound and you pull the strips. This will pull the two sides of the adhesive together, which in turn, pull the wound closed and hold it closed. The small wound closure would handle a one/two stitch wound and the larger ones more. Of course, these closures do not replace proper medical attention or advice. But, they are great for emergencies or for that one person that is going to fix it themselves, in a less appropriate way.I think the Jolvka Emergency Wound Closure Kit needs to be a standard in every first aid kit, both in the workplace and in the home, and I am excited to have them. Five stars.
