I just bought these after reading multiple reviews on multiple websites. I was torn what to believe as there are polarizing reviews out there, some say they work, others say they don't or work for one cut then get dull. I took a chance and was able to complete my project. I’m a first timer when it comes to assembling braided AN hose and fittings and I used these to make 8-10 cuts of braided stainless 10AN hose. I chose not to use any tape, and my cuts were clean with the exception of the hose fraying slightly at one point consistently, these shears will also flatten the hose a little bit after the cut. I made the hose round again using a pair of pliers and you can either cut the small fraying end with some smaller pliers or leave it, i was able to assemble my fittings either way with no trouble and the oil cooler i put on my BMW is running fine with no leaks on any hose/fitting. Id recommend these shears for AN line as they stayed sharp until the last cut i made and I would expect them to remain sharp. Again, as a first time user of AN hose and fittings, i was able to assemble my project and get it working with no leaks. 5/5

Bought these to make some custom-10 turbo drain hoses first four cuts perfect now just get the crinkle effect I tried tightening the set screw between the two jaws to no avail just back to the wrapping it with tape and using a die grinder. I am just outside of the 30-day window to return it maybe I'll keep them around for rubber hose

Was really hoping that this shear was going to make the hundreds of feet worth on AN line cutting, quick and most importantly, clean. Nope.These are just a slightly better grade of tree limb shears.I've tried them on AN lines from -4 to -16 and there are always wires that need to be cut with a pair of end cutters to complete the cut and/or to clean up the cut so as to be able to assemble the fitting. I may as well have just gone and picked up a few new, good hacksaw blades or a cutter for the grinder. Bummed.

If you make AN lines you need this. No more cutting lines with cutting wheels having to clean the inside of the hose from shavings. Cut the hose with these in seconds. Really cuts down the labor time when making AN hoses. The tool is a little large but it’s easy to use by yourself if you just lay it on the ground.

Was hesitant to buy for awhile but while using a cutoff wheel I’d still fight it. This cut like butter and clean. Was a few minutes making a fuel line for this intake.

Bought this to fix AN lines I made a while ago. Cut right through the Stainless braiding and hose with ease. Smaller than a large bolt cutters and can easily be used to cut hoses by yourself if you have a vice or something to secure the hose. Great product, would definitely recommend.
