A Handbook for Steiner-Waldorf Class Teachers

I really like how this is laid out for a planning and teaching guide. So much in it!I have purchased all 3 of the books in this series as I prepare to homeschool my oldest autistic son and possibly my other 3 children as I am hating the public school telling my kids they can't draw if they finish early!

I love this book - it is definitely an excellent resource for teachers, but extraordinarily useful for home school parents too. It covers philosophy, it provides examples, it gives check lists and explains them, it gives actual plans and details. It is very practical and ideas are stated clearly. As a first time home school mom who wishes she could afford to send her child to the local Waldorf school in our area, I am so happy with this as a resource.

I bought this because some reviews said it was great for homeschooling. I completely disagree. The majority of the book is specifically for teachers in classrooms. As a parent, I could not and would not use/apply much of any of it.3 stars because it was of no use to me but might be 5 stars to teachers.

This is nice book to learn about the basics of being a Waldorf Class Teacher. It’s easy to read and understand and everything is in order which I appreciate! I just wish it would go more into detail and provide some ideas (I.e standard Waldorf rhymes and songs).

This book has everything a person teaching in a Waldorf school could want and need. This book will be a go-to again and again in my teaching career.

Very basic book. Not much information

As a home educators using steiner/waldorf methodology I found this book very helpful in providing summaries of the curriculum as well as lists of expected outcomes per class year. Examples of schedules for various blocks provided a format which I adapted for my children's education. The book is a really useful reference book!
