Really enjoy this series!
I love Sharpe and Walker together. Great banter! Unique plot kept me turning pages. I really didn’t enjoy the Eve Ronin crossover. I read one book in her series and just couldn’t connect with her character. I find her personality without warmth. Her dialogue stilted. I look forward to more Sharpe and Walker. The first book in this series was much more intense and suspenseful, but I did enjoy this plot. Walker is a great character. So likable and relatable. He could carry the series by himself.

Very Enjoyable
This is a good series. The two main characters have great personalities as they play off one another. The details of their arson investigations are detailed. It is fast-paced and interesting. There is one more book in this series to look forward to.

Second book in a wonderful series and can’t wait for the third
A wonderful read with appealing and compelling characters, a great plot, and an ending that is both surreal and superb. Loved the nod to Robert Parker’s Spenser novels not only in the direct reference to Spenser by Walker, but also in the dialogue between Sharpe and Walker which was reminiscent of conversations between Spenser and Hawk and equally humorous and entertaining. I love Parker’s Spenser series and think Mr Goldberg is in the same league. Thank you for such an enjoyable book. Please hurry with the next in the series.

another good read
Never to disappoint Goldberg’s characters are fun to read and can see/hear them in my mind. If you haven’t read Calico you should! Another fun read

Time to grow up
I like Lee Goldberg’s Eve Ronin books, even though she is often hard to like. Eve Ronin is why I read the first book in this series and it was a pleasant and unexpected surprise to find her in this second Sharpe & Walker installment (Bosch & Ballard style). And although I do like Sharpe, I find Walker a well drawn caricature of an immature American male, good guy form. While Eve Ronin and Renee Ballard are not incompatible conceptually, Walker and Bosch have in common only that they both color outside the box. Maybe Walker has layers yet to be revealed but so far he’s only shown the depth of a shallow puddle. So, fun read, a lot packed into the story (hence the 3 stars). It’s difficult when the “star of the show” is so annoying but I’m sure I will read the next in the series. Hopefully, Walker will show a some character development and maturation.

Always a good time with Ronin
Love this author and his character development. Lots of twists and turns. Just when I think I've figured things out something new pops up. Especially enjoy how his books take us on more than one journey. What's next?

What a great series this is. Sharpe and Walker give us lots of rough and tough, but also some very funny moments and comments. This was a great story, with an extra exciting character brought in for a little help. Loving it. Looking forward more of these two super characters. Great writing as always from Lee Goldberg.
