ATE Pro. USA 83341 Wrench, Hex Key, Dipped T-Handle, SAE 10-Piece Set

They are Ok in a pinch. This kit is a bit bulky to keep in my service bag that I carry into every service call so, it sits on a shelf until what I do have in my bag just wont reach. The case they come in has plastic snaps on each end that wont stay closed. Half go in one end, the other half go in the other. Well, If you don't carry them with a firm grip they will spill out of both ends. A little embarrassing if they clank down on a customers wood floors. Have not had any strip or break yet and I do use them quite a bit. A bit of the red grip have chipped off on a few but all in all they were well worth the peanuts they cost. Just keep em in a tool box or they will get lost. Shipping was fast btw

Perfect for what I needed, which was to use to adjust an OdinWorks Adjustable Gas Block on a 10.5" barrel that had a 12.3" handguard. I needed at least a 6-inch long 7/64th allen wrench to reach the gas block adjustment and this did exactly that.Once I installed a 12.3' handguard on my SBR, I could no longer reach my adjustable gas block until I ordered this. I only needed a 7/64th wrench, but for the price I got this entire kit. Now to adjust my gas block, I don't need to use a lot of torque so I am not sure how these would hold up with extreme force or torque but they work great for what I needed.I will rate them 4 stars because I do not know how they hold up with more force/torque, but they do seem a little brittle.

I'm not sure if this is a fair test of this product's abilities or not, but this is why I give these 2 stars:I was repairing a range-top exhaust fan unit that raises and lowers using an electric motor tied to some articulating arms.The motor needed replacing and the arms were connected to the motor shaft with two 1/8" hex set screws that mated with a flat on the motor shaft.The screws were deep inside the housing and I just could not get enough leverage with a standard allen-style key so I got these to reach the screws.I give them two stars because they were indeed long enough to reach. I give them no more than two beaus in the first attempt, the end of the wrench completely rounded over. Were the flutes used to be is now a nicely smooth, round piece of metal.The wrench was completely seated in the screw, and the screw head was not damaged or rounded in any way to begin with. In fact, there was not damage to the screw after the 'rounding' occurred.This, then prompted me to take the entire bracket apart (which I was trying to avoid) so I could go back to the standard allen-key that I had original. A quick snap on both bolts and they were free.These were only $15, so perhaps I got what I paid for. If this type of performance is what I should expect from this product, I'll gladly change my rating to higher to reflect my unrealistic expectations.

They're fine tools for the money for sure. There's a bit of flex but they seem to be resilient and it doesn't affect their strength that I can tell. I use them mostly for changing chuck jaws and other stuff when woodturning, so they're not receiving a huge load of torque. I've had them for a while now and would buy again.

CVF Supply sells sets with sturdier handles - not that I try to use this set with very trying allen bolts. I ordered this set mainly for its length. The tools perform well, but I should have gone with a sturdier handle - just my preference. Overall still a very good tool for the money. I also like CVF Supply's tool selection

My husband was only looking for one specific size of hex key, but he knew he needed the T-handle and it couldn't be a short one. Lowes and Home Depot no longer carry them for whatever reasons, but Amazon has everything! This set was priced well, good quality, and from the top of the handle to the tip of the hex key is about 8 inches, so he was able to accomplish what he needed (putting a laser scanner back together) with ease. Highly recommend this set.

These are pretty good wrenches, however they appear to be only partially hardened, as the tips are wearing quicker than expected. Given their length, and if they aren't tool steel, it may make sense to cut them down and use a next section of hex.

These have been a life saver for working on my firearms. Thats what they are for specifically and I'm yet to find a part (short of optics, lasers are tiny) that these can't handle. Plus the handle...is a great part of the tool. Easy to twist, even my sweaty hands adhere to them and they can handle a lot of torque.
