Great stuff
Nothing to dislike, this worked very well on the bald patches of my lawn.Within a week I could see new grow, it grew quite quickly after that and was lovely and healthy.Easy to use, details on the pack and no dramas.Wasn't expensive and worth every penny.

Works but
I ordered this on the 15th May 24 . The day after I sorted my garden out ready to seed. Seeded the garden. It's only just started to show and some places no growth. Better than some of the grass seeds I have brought in the past and the price is OK to

Great seed. I did not expect such germination and lawn quality.

Be Aware
This grass seed is market as a GroundMaster product. The bag that I received was plain white and had no mention of being GroundMaster. Indeed, the product information label was ominously covered by the postage label. When this was removed there was no mention of GroundMaster but did reveal that the packet was sealed in Feb 2018, making the seed 15 months old or even older if considering when it was harvested and mixed. Published data shows that seed older than 12 months has significantly lower germination rates that continue to decline over timeWhen I submitted this information to the seller, Gardeners Dream Ltd, various explanations were offered but none adequate in my view and I asked for a replacement or a refund and was offered a refund if I returned the package at my own cost. I have not taken up this offer and have not used the seed as I feel it will be a waste of time and effort.I would also mention that the replacement seed I purchased the packet was sealed in March 2019

Seems to have worked
I re seeded my shady lawn and it appears to have germinated well.It's a fresh green colour after a couple of weeks but I watered it well everyday to begin with and then the rain took over.

The Birds Love it.....
Disappointed with the GroundMaster Shady Premium Grass Seed. Planted 3 weeks ago following the instructions, but very little germination so far. On the bright side, the birds seem to love it - the bag must have been full of tasty seeds for them! Wouldn't recommend this product if you're looking for a quick and easy way to establish a new lawn in shady areas.
