Better than buying a replacement gasket
The unit was easy to install, it fit perfectly and has been performing well for two months. The price is a bit on the high side, but it was the better option available.

Will fit Dyson Outsize Perfectly!
Apparently broken rings are a common issue for Dyson vacuums. I contacted Dyson and they said this product is not of stock and would not be available for weeks. I search Amazon and this product was the perfect fit to get back my vacuum up and running again. The hardest part is popping out the old piece. Super easy install and an easy $55 fix.

Fit perfect
This piece was better than the original piece for the Dyson. You can take it out much easier and clean it and it won’t break.

Fixed my V11 Outsize
The 2 year old bin seal came apart while vacuuming. Couldn't find a replacement at Dyson and replacement bins are not available. This part is the correct replacement. Works great and I ordered a 2nd to keep in case this one wears out. Easy to pop out the old one if you use the blue picks ( sold by different vendor) to ease the old seal off. Just wedge them in close to the prongs and ease the ring off. The picks are for cell phone repair but a thick guitar pick would work.. and this seems better made than Dyson's.

Works great but pricey
It sealed great but man was this a bit pricey for a small piece of plastic. Glad I was she to replace the broken pat of my outsize bin though.

3rd Party did what Dyson would not do
I used my Dyson Outsize Vacuum for about 9 months before it suddenly became unusable. While opening the canister to dump out the dust, something happened. I never knew even how it happened, but it would not go back together. A ring inside the canister had come loose, causing the gasket to be unsealable. I looked for replacement parts on the Dyson site, but the parts in question were marked unavailable. I called the company, and a person with a strong middle-eastern accent (or from India) tried to minimize the problem without offering a solution. After I got angry, he offered to replace the entire vacuum, but I did not want that. I just wanted the replacement part(s). He said they would call me when the parts were available. I checked back at the site every few weeks, but after a year, it had never been available. Fortunately, I had another vacuum — one that I disliked compared to the Dyson Outsize, but I was able to use it.Finally I got fed up and started searching. Sure enough, at least 2 companies made the parts I needed. They were listed as having sold thousands and thousands of them. The comments section were full of reviews like this one: Dyson would not fix it or provide parts, so someone else did. What surprised me was to learn that EVERY SINGLE ONE of these Dyson Outsize vacuums had this problem. Some sooner than others, but eventually that ring comes loose in all of them. Poor design, poor planning, poor customer support!I bought the part, and I’m pleased to report that it fixed the vacuum instantly and (as far as I can tell) permanently. Much better design than the original part. Shame on Dyson for not addressing this or helping their customers! The Dyson Outsize vacuum — aside from this problem — is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned or used. Better than the old Electrolux canister vacuums, better than all of them. It has power, it’s cordless, the canister is very large, it came with two batteries so one can be charging while the other is being used. The battery lasts for the duration of cleaning my entire house, unless the cats are shedding, but two batteries is way more than enough. Of all things, this broken gasket ring was utterly the stupidest reason to render it unusable. I just could not understand why Dyson allowed this little 50¢ part to immobilize a thousand dollar vacuum system. STUPID!But this 3rd party part did the trick. They did what Dyson should have done, but didn’t. The vacuum is back in business now, and I’m a happy customer, but I’ll think twice before ever buying something from Dyson again.

Excellent!
This product fit my v11 outsize perfectly and it even seems more sturdy than the one that it came with.
