Great to see in your ear but hard to navigate inside
I have had inner ear problems my entire life, so was really intrigued by this device. Upon receiving it, I can say that it is not as gross as I thought it might be, and it's actually pretty cool. The setup was very easy for an Android device. There is a QR code to scan that brings you to the app you need to download to use it. The only weird thing that was slightly confusing is that the device itself emits WIFI, so I had to disconnect from my WIFI to connect to the device. You connect to it not as a Bluetooth device but connect to its WIFI. I am pretty tech-savvy, and while it didn't take me long, it did take a couple of seconds to wrap my head around why it wasn't connecting.Once connected, it was super easy to use. I pressed the "Start" button on the app and could instantly see an extremely clear image. The detail is phenomenal. I could see every little hair and even drops of water (I think it was water though I don't know what it was in my ear). Inside the ear looks pretty disgusting, but it's also really cool to see all the details. The app also has functionality to capture images or videos that you can store, which I assume could be handy if you need to send them to a physician for telemedicine. It would be nice if the button on the device allowed you to control the capturing of images/videos while in those modes, but you can only capture images by using the app, which can be difficult to juggle with the device. The device has a soft silicone scoop at the end that scoops wax easily without irritating the ear. I did notice my inner ear seemed to get a bit pinker after repeated use, but it did not hurt or feel irritated at all. Actually, my ears felt a lot better than they had before I started. The silicone scoop does not seem very durable as I was wiping the wax off and it tore at the bottom slightly. Luckily, it comes with replacements, but be wary that when cleaning it you will need to be very gentle.Overall, it is a cool little device and it is easy to use. I am not sure how it compares with other similar devices, so cannot comment on the value based on others at a lower price point. I can say that I enjoy how it functions, its ease of use, its sleekness, and how clear the camera is. I will be making this a part of my care routine.

App wouldn't be so bad if I could connect it easily.
This is ultimately a novelty for me. I have the wet style wax and therefore it's difficult to get it out of the ear on the spoon without smearing it. It dies absolutely help determine how dirty the ear actually is. I underestimated how gross the whole experience is. Despite this I'll probably have one of these from here on as the utility is absolutely there.the app on the other hand is horrible to connect to. it doesnt use Bluetooth but its own LAN wifi and despite being connected to it the app doesnt recognize this. it takes 5 to 10 minutes each time to get it connected manually toggling wifi, connecting and disconnecting, killing the app until it connectsgood product bad app experience

Excellent quality in a tiny package!
Let me preface this review with the fact that I am NOT a doctor, nor do I have any medical training. Normally, I wouldn't stick items into my ear canal, but I'm glad I did. This little device comes nicely packaged and includes 3 (same size and shape) wax scoops that screw on to the end of the device. Device set up is very simple, and once you are use to it, it connects in seconds. The instruction manual includes a QR code that you can use to download the app required to view on your phone. When the device is turned on, it transmits a wifi signal that you connect your phone to, and voila, you are up and running. The app allows you to take pictures and videos of what you are seeing in real time. There is very little to no lag in the connection. The lights on the end are bright enough to see where you're going once inside. You can easily see inside the ear canal, so you know roughly how far you can safely go in. The quality of the camera is top notch, every little piece of wax looks like a giant bolder you are pulling out. Most of the time, it's just a little speck on the tip of the scoop. The battery life on it is ok for what you are doing with it. You'll have plenty of battery to get in, remove a few scoops and still have plenty of battery left over. It does not take too long to charge, and with a full charge, the app says you have about 45 minutes of run time. Pretty impressive for a device the size of a small screwdriver. I had been having trouble with my left ear for some time. I wake up in the morning and it is clogged, and by mid day it's fine. I chalked it up to allergies, and put off going to an ENT. After peering inside my ear with this device, I was able to see I had a severe impaction in my left ear. Needless to say, a wax scooper wasn't going to cut it, and I wasn't even going to attempt removing something like that. I needed professional help, so I made an appointment with my ENT. Thanks to this device, I realized I had a medical issue that needed addressed by a doctor. Who knows how long I would have not known something was wrong and just let it go? This little device really helped me out BIG time, and I can honestly say that it is worth every penny.

High Quality Instrument for People Prone to Earwax
This is a very well made instrument for people that are prone to collecting earwax. The device itself is easy to set up, uses Bluetooth connection to link up with the phone app, and the video quality is crystal clear without being difficult to focus. Just please be careful as it is easy to jam the tool in too far into the ear. Go slowly, stay away from the eardrum, and it will work very well as the tip is made of a soft silicone material. I often get buildup of earwax which affects hearing but this tool is great for maintaining clear ear canals. I always feel like I have super-hearing after a good cleaning. This device also has picture/video capability but is a bit clunky since it requires use of the app.. and doesn't seem to be that helpful anyway unless you're sending it to your doctor. This does require a bit of basic skill so just make sure you know what you're doing before jamming it into your ear! Great value.
