if the wood is pressure treated and wet
the only thing i see if the wood is wet , will be inflated and won/t fit. otherwise is a very good product

These brackets added a touch of class to our new deck railings. The contractor we used to install the railings was so impressed he took photos to show his employer for future installations!

screw angles
I used these brackets to install a bannister to my front door. It's not obvious from the pictures, but the four screws on the sides angle inward at about 45 degrees. Therefore, drilling the pilots holes isn't as precise as I would have liked, but it's acceptable. These brackets are very secure and easy enough to work with.

These look fabulous! Easy to use and seem very durable. So much cheaper than the big box store by a lot!! Would love the option of taller ones to accommodate the railings for stairs. Just be aware that about an inch of the 2x4 for the stair railing is going to show above this clip, but still looks good. Very happy with this purchase. Had to buy an oil base black paint to repaint the screws due to paint coming off during install. Would buy again

Very good
This is high quality and a good deal. Way cheaper cost than buying in a home building supply store. Redid our deck railing system with these and, not only does it look good using these, made the job easier. Highly recommend.

Really nice...
Comes with the screws... very nice and easy to use... we will see how they stand up to the weather here up north... but they are real solid and seem like quality plastic.

Excellent Product
I installed 36 of these. Hitting them with a hammer, driving screws into them never cracked one. Very strong plastic with excellent screws provided.
