A Convenient Fiction

Another brilliant book from MM. I was prepared for Alex being the least likeable of the Orphans that we’ve met by this stage,due to events we are told about in the previous book in the series, but MM managed to redeem him brilliantly.

I do not know how Mimi Matthews continues to produce such stellar works time and time again. This is no exception. I absolutely LOVED Alex and Laura. They were both such strong yet endearingly vulnerable characters. The plot line moves along at a great pace. Indeed, I could not put this down once I started it. The editing is superb which is no surprise for this author. I absolutely cannot wait for Neville’s book! There is a sneak peek of his story at the end of this book. I have been waiting for his story since the first book. My heart just aches for him and wants to see him get his HEA I do not know how Ms. Matthews will be able to outdo this series. I swear that I’m in love with every hero that she has ever written. They are all truly swoon worthy! This will definitely be read and reread often in the future.

This is a four part story. The four boys were orphans who became best friends and looked for each other. It is best to read them in chronological order. You can read them as stand alone but you miss information for why they take the actions they do.
