This clipboard is a conversation starter and is used daily. My wife loves it and carries it all around school.

This is too lite to be actual walnut, the clip was wobbly in its application, just feels cheap. Not worth the price at all.

This hardwood clip board with stand is crafted like a fine piece of furniture. Your hand just glides over the surface of the polished wood. No blemishes, no checks, no uneven surfaces just a smooth, beautiful wood surface. The clip at the top has a beautiful rose copper color and is highly functional with a strong spring action. The hanging hook is easy to access.The clipboard rests loosely in one side of the base, and more tightly in the other side. I imagine that if you plan to use the clipboard to display something (today's featured wines, the menu for a banquet, the officer of the day schedule, etc.) you would insert the clipboard in the tight channel to hold it upright and steady. If, on the other hand, you intend to use it for sign-up sheets for liturgist or communion servers, you would insert the clipboard into the looser channel so it can easily be removed so people can sign-up.I think it will be a classy addition to our church's activity corner.

It is real walnut wood, not the cheap bamboo. In order to get practising certificate, I have to attend many training courses very often. With this upright clip board, I do not have to bend my neck to read lecture notes on the desk. I can maintain correct anatomical position of cervical spine to minimize neck pain.
