Q: Will these leave residue when wiping down oil on a hot Blackstone griddle?

They might. I washed them all before using and was amazed at the amount of lint that was in the dryer vent. And the next time I washed them again a lot of lint. I just tried to wipe some grease off of my stove top (cool not hot) and link from a previously wash cloth did stick to the grease.

Q: What is the fabric content in these towels?

The description reads “Recycled Cotton Fabric” They look nothing like the picture and they smelled like they were sitting in an old barn for decades- even after 2 washes.

Q: Are these 100% cotton?

Appears to be made of rags. Not good for use on a car when polishing.
