ATN Auxiliary Ballistic Smart Laser Rangefinder w/Bluetooth

This is a brand new product offered by ATN for their premium scopes. I was excited to receive one of the first units to hit the North American shores and quickly attached the unit to my X-Sight 4K. The physical attachment was as easy as pie and took a whopping three minutes. The bluetooth connection took a bit longer. At first, the unit would not pair with scope after about twenty attempts. Finally, it did indicate that it was paired, but the unit would not allow me to align it using the built in laser. It simply came back with a message to connect the ABL. After checking for a new firmware update at the ATN website, the new version 330 was found and I installed it into the scope. After a few more failed attempts, it finally acknowledged the BT pairing and locked the two units together. The rest of the setup proceeded without any issues and it is now a fast and accurate scope system. I have yet to take it to the range, but I have verified its readings with my Leopold rangefinder and it is spot on. What a wonderful, accurate system! It's a keeper.

It is an excellent product that I highly recommend, the installation is not so simple but once is done there are no problems. At first when I started using it it was draining the battery in like 30 min, but ATN did come wit an update in a week where they fixed this problem and since that there are no problems, I can say that one battery goes dead like in 4-6 months. So you do not need to worry. Overall the product is extra and it is precise. So buy in and lets go hunting :)

Good quality(what you would expect from a extremely expensive optic and addon) it syncs up with the scope every time and after measuring the distance on a tape measure it's only off by 1 yard or so, which is Definitely not a huge difference for me just going to a range and not using it for any hunting. It's a must have with your xsight4k IMO as it does 99% of the sighting in for you if you have it

Bought the 1500 for the 5×20 4K Pro Day/Night scope. The compass, cant and the tilt digital readout doesn't work at all on the scope , it's frozen. The scope range finder readout is frozen ! The 1500 range finder , the scope will not recognize that the range finder is there. Now that could be because of my scope , I dont know. On the 1500 range finder. The battery wouldn't go in the way the picture showedit was suppose to. The battery screw cap wouldn't come down enough for the threads to start with the battery in the compartment so I turned the battery over and then I could screw the cap down . But when I unscrewed the cap , the battery was stuck and I can't get it back out. Do not buy !! Oh, I forgot to say. The night vision is a crapy 1st generation and it's terrible and the night vision doesn't even want to work in the cold !! And looking thru the scope at night and take your eye away, you can't see out your eye becayse it's like you held a flashlight and held it shining in your eye and all you see is a giant white spot !!

For me this was a no brainer add on to the scope. I know it's a little expensive for an add on but for me it was well worth it. Awsome how it adjust your shot for distance. Work awsome for me on my hog hunt. Hogs went from 50yards to 250yards and with a click of a button my scope was on.

This was easy to setup and use. It seems accurate and works well with the X-sight 4K Pro. My only issue was that it quit working at about 4 degrees. Once I warmed it up just a little it started working again. I will be keeping it, because I don't plan on using it in single digit temps very often.

This item works as described, it takes some understanding to get it logged on to the Bluetooth scope, however once that is locked on it preforms all of the necessary adjustments on the scope automatically. A great addition to the scope and night vision. Takes all of the guess work out of MOA calculations, Mil-Dot calculations and with the speed of high speed computing allows for repeated shot groups in differing areas, closer, farther away, to the right and left of your steaks.

Only reason i didn’t give this a one star is because it seemed to be built durable. I ordered the 1500 and couldn’t get this thing to range a sheet of plywood at 300 yards. I tried and tried to get it set up hoping it would be everything I wanted it to be but it just wasn’t. In the end I ended up sending it back and getting my money back and was left having to re sight in my gun. For an attachment that costs half as much as the scope itself it’s just not good.
