Works
Bought this because my headphone plug is too big to reach the audio jack while a case is on my phone. The audio seems just as good as compared to using the phones audio jack, and it works well so far.

Great adapter for the new iPhones
I recently purchased an iPhone 15 Pro Max, which utilizes the new USB-C port standard. Typically, I use an AUX cable for my speakers that I have in my living room. For many years, I used the 3.5mm to lightning adapter, but needed something for my new iPhone. This adapter here works perfectly for my use case and my new iPhone. No issues whatsoever connecting the adapter to my iPhone, and the sound quality that comes through is perfect. Does the job extremely well. I also think the adapter looks great and appears to be made of durable high quality material. If you're intending to use for a similar use case as mine, I wouldn't hesitate. Also, you absolutely cannot beat the price here. At the time of this review, the adapter is $5.99. Wouldn't think twice about repurchasing here - highly recommended!

Great quality and sound
This works great with an iPhone 15 and I’ve also used it off of my USB-C hub on my computer. Just what I needed!

Old headphones -> iPhone 15
Works to use your lightning headphones with an iPhone 15. No apparent loss in sound quality or features.

Needed it for a mic receiver and it works!
That was my big thing, I needed this to adapt a wired mic to my phone and when I used a splitter adapter, that did not work well. But this one seemed to connect perfectly to my phone and mic while forming out great sound quality that others have failed to do.

iPhone 15 - does NOT control volume
I’m a little confused as to why this seems to work for everybody else. I’m using an iPhone 15 with Apple wired headset. Two headsets actually, to confirm it’s not just a bad headset.For me, it plays the audio perfectly. Great sound. I can click the middle button to play/stop/fast forward/rewind. It does NOT control volume at all.So this is better than nothing to keep all your old 3.5 jacks working. And considering it’s wired, you can generally just turn the volume up and down on your phone. It is mostly there, but not all.

nice, music sounds a bit empty tho
Since I'll still be straddling the lightning / USB C life for the foreseeable future, this dongle was needed. I am a borderline needs to be committed germaphobe and loathe any surface or material I cannot sanitize or wash. So, fabric / braided cables while a bit more grippy and "pretty", are not my favorite. I do like the colors (unlike the apple 15 charging wires which are now FABRIC! but I digress.) This cord will be very helpful when I have to take calls and need my headphones while I'm out. I do wish the cord itself was a bit shorter - the Apple ones are much tinier - I don't see why it needs to be longer than that - but it's a Me issue. The music from Spotify did sound a bit empiter somehow than when I played it from my phone. Not sure if I'm imagining things.
