Elena Bathroom Wall Light with Tube Glass Shades - Polished Chrome

This unit is very smart looking , admired by my friends . Gives out great light easy to set up . almost best thing in my bathroom. Sent to me very quickly and well packed against damage.

First the positive - it looks great and of a weighty quality - the body and the frosted glass diffusers.However, as others have pointed out there are some design or assembly flaws. Although it looks symmetrical, the inner box has only got the hole for the pull cord on one side and that partly determines the fixing position and the cable entry. The electrical innards only just fit into the inner box, so it's a fiddle to put together. For me, the worst snag is that the inner box, that fixes to the wall, has bumps in the metal where the two fixing holes are, so I'm having to think of ways to pack that (between the box and the wall) otherwise it wobbles or rocks side to side . . . [EDIT] . . . ok, so if you manage to get all the innards tucked fully inside then the outer cover edges do sit against the wall, so the inner casing bumps don't figure. Nevertheless . . .

Overall a reasonable product . The connector in the body is very difficult to fit back in with an earth connection. The pull cord needs a better sleeve to protect it from the metal body as it will fray very quickly ( made one myself)

I like this light, it adds a touch of class to the bathroom and the twin bulbs give a nice soft light without harsh shadows. Found it difficult to fit all the electrics inside without affecting the way the light fixes to the wall, and had to cut the 'chocolate block' connector in half to help hide it away. But now it's up I think it looks great..

The holes the string passes through don’t line up and the metal is sharp and would soon wear through the string. Sent it back

This lamp appears to be of a good quality, but why supply a lamp without bulbs when only one type of bulb meets the manufacturer's specification:-LED 3w G9On the Amazon page for this lamp it says"Frequently bought together" with a picture of two G9 bulbs on a card. Assuming the bulbs were the correct spec., I added them to the order basket. Turns out I had ordered G9 Halogen of a much higher wattage which would probably damage the glass shades.So I ordered my bulbs again, taking great care to get the spec right this time.Guess what? The new bulb supplier shipped the wrong bulbs (G11) !Why can't LITECRAFT just add a quid to their price and supply bulbs with their lamp? It would save a lot of hassle.

Nicely finished, decent size giving off a good light

Looks good above new basin and provides enough light to shave.My only disappointment was that it came without bulbs.
